Re: fickle fans

Recommended Posts

Just like I have now, I was a season ticket holder in the lower barclay!

This post is back to front! How are we fickle for supporting the team now that we''re not even half as good as we were then???

I can hear it now "Where were you when you were good"!!!!

Middle of the Barclay where I still am.

What''s the point? Are you one of those people that believe only those who go home and away every game, every year, are true supporters?

I know some people who do that who don''t know a thing about football other than "they loike that bloke Huckurr-bee he''s goood in''t he". Does it make them any more of a fan than me who has a season ticket and only does a couple of away trips a year, but can at least tell you who plays in which position?

Of course not.

H was probably in the directors box chomping on expensive king prawn sandwiches using the fine gold cutlery, whilst discussing what could be renovated next by Robert Chase''s building company alongsonde the man himself.....

I was supporting Wimbledon - as they were a very successful and a well supported big club........

If you believe that.......then you''ll believe that I''m the Lord of Old Catton....

I was there, sat in the old Saarf Stand doing my knitting.....
