Extremely bad luck, what was the extent of his injury?

I don’t think the club know exactly . Yesterday was the “let the swelling go down before we know” but today it seems they can assess and have sent him to see a specialist. Quad - it’s a group of muscles so could be bad enough for surgery (stitch it back)

You could see he knew straight away.

Can I just say how absolutely gutted I am to hear Liam is out for the season.

A great lad with a fantastic attitude .

Yeah agree completely with this. He's also been 'unlucky' this season in that his main position is in the one part of the pitch where we haven't picked up a load of injuries.

It’s so strange how our players like Sorensen, Gobs seam to get pretty serious injuries, bad luck but it does cut their development all the time. Such a shame as both could have played a crucial role in the run in!

Weakens the bench markedly, who does Wagner to bring on to strengthen the team?  Answer noone would have been Placheta another sicknote.

I'll give you that for Gibbs, but Jacob Sorenson is 26 - he's exactly half way through a typical footballing career if we take it to start at 18 and end somewhere around 34.

We are straying into Jesse Lingaard territory if we're still considering him a prospect with any further 'development' on the horizon.

If he could stay fit then Sorenson could be a useful utility player for us and tends to look neat and tidy enough, although sometimes a bit powderpuff and unimposing. With his injury record though I should imagine he'd need to be on very modest wages for us to keep him, probably to the extent that he might get the same or more back in Denmark.

No doubt he'll end up going and playing 30+ games for somebody next season like Sam Byram has managed for Leeds this season, typical!

Yes but Sorensen has beer here over three years and was young when he got injured for the first time in his multiple injuries for us!
