Are you now campaigning for your “seat for life” to be limited to just 25 years?

Seriously though, the Wimbledon bond was launched after the NCFC bond, which was one of the first of its kind. Subsequent schemes have varied considerably, so to castigate the Club for their particular scheme does have hints of hindsight on your part.

MWJ as quoted in 1998 Annual Report:

'We are determined not to be followers but front runners with the best in service to our supporters and the best in commitment to family involvement'

Perhaps I should ask MWJ the extent to which he will heed these words in the 3 year plan because recent events suggest a reminder is required.

You do love to quote Annual Reports from yesteryear, but, notwithstanding, you can’t simply reinvent something just because someone else has done subsequently done it differently.

Maybe they should do away with roadshows if barely 100 fans can be bothered to turn up?

The attendance at the Yarmouth roadshow was a good deal younger than at the AGM which itself should demonstrate the value of it. Not to mention that it created an environment for the younger supporters to engage with their heroes and some people who are struggling to afford match tickets to connect with their Club.

The fact that it didn't attract a bigger audience is doubtless connected with the Club's failure to project it properly such as no prior publicity in the matchday Programme.

The meeting commenced with a Club official stating that they had come to Yarmouth because it was the town with the highest number of supporters on the Club database without a Norwich postcode. The latter was swiftly corrected by the audience.

In a sense non of it is surprising given that in many ways our £3 million a year SMT probably have about as much commitment to our locality as our local MPs with their Westminster blinkers.

I didn't attend the original roadshows living in Essex at the time but picked up on the fact that they were immensely popular and supported by Club officials who, unlike the current SMT, were committed to such principles and attention to detail. Whether those currently prominently engaged in Supporter Engagement share those principles is perhaps also in question but ought not to be. On the issue of fan finance either invigorate or end it. None of it is that difficult providing there is true commitment to football being an integral part of it's community as distinct from a franchise concept.

The first tents are already pitched outside the entrance.

Surely a trip to the Lion and Castle at her matron's pleasure would be in order?
