Trevor Chilver 0 Posted February 25, 2006 What a diference it made to Notts Forest when they sacked the awful Megson; 7-1 victory. They realeased the chains and the yolk around the players heads and by realeasing that pressure caused by bad mangement/coaching they are now playing with confidence, desire and freedom resulting in expressing their skills! The result today should be the last under Worthington; if Delia does not fulfill her duty to the fans, then she should also go?Take a lesson from Forest and release us from the Worthington chains and plan for next season; PLEASE!! Forest turned it on against Swindon , and you say that its because Megson got the push ... leaving aside the possibility that the result was a one off , IF the team could play like that under a caretaker manager , why couldn`t they play like that under Megson ? begs the question , doesn`t it ? that the team play crap until they get rid of a man they don`t like ! Just makes you wonder if a section of our team are playing crap in order to get Nigel the sack ? .... just a thought mind !
EadiesRight Foot 0 Posted February 26, 2006 As Skipper said (along the lines of), there is wafer thin line between success and failure; there is also a fine line between loyalty and stupidity. Like the beaten woman who keeps accepting her violent husband back with open arms, the board needs to be shown that there is a different way - one without our current coaching set up, which would bring back the good times, and decent football we all pay good money to see, and not the dross from loanees and guns for hire currently out on the pitch. They have to act at the end of the season, see sense, and clear out the backroom staff and current management. Thanks for everything guys, but it has gone very very stale here. Tom NCFC 0 Posted February 26, 2006 I''m not sure if that would happen, if worthy left who would take immedite control of the 1st Team, i wouldn''t Livermore calling the shoots (or lack of)
Alex Harvey-Jones 0 Posted February 26, 2006 It is noticeable how nearly every team that sacks their manager starts playing much better. I think much of this is due to the pressure being reduced. It can''t be easy to play well when the surrounding atmosphere is one of such discontentment!!
