TeemuVanBasten 3,328 Posted July 22, 2022 He's been in the Wales U21 squad towards the end of last season so must be fit and have resumed training etc after his cancer diagnosis. Was out on loan at Livingstone when diagnosed, so presume the sensible option with us having 3 senior keepers is to loan him out again, see if he can gain a bit more experience?
GodlyOtsemobor 2,828 Posted July 22, 2022 League one loan would be good for the season.
Terminally Yellow 2,614 Posted July 22, 2022 I hope so. He deserves the chance to get his career back on track and that short stint he played for us during an injury (or was it COVID?) crisis I thought he looked really solid.
DanTheMan 3 Posted July 22, 2022 Interesting that none of the U23 keepers have been used in pre season. Would guess Barden & Mair will be off on loan. This still leaves Berry, Blair & Rose at U23
HazzaJet 266 Posted July 22, 2022 I’d definitely send him out on loan now as with Krul, Gunn, and McGovern we don’t need him, and so won’t need to bring someone in to cover his absence It was sad how last season got ruined for him, but it would be great if he can get regular game time in League One
