Pukki today

Recommended Posts

Goal and really beautiful assist. Also played amazing through ball which was missed by his teammate. Interesting fact, Pukki played up together with Benjamin Källman who is just breaking into national team and they played really well together (both scoring from each others assist). Källman has only two weeks left on his contract, so maybe interesting free agent bet for some club..

Think it was mentioned under the new rules Pukki wouldn't have got a work permit now, so unlikely this chap would either.

I'm really hoping Idah recovers well from his awful injury. The form he showed for the first time under Smith and Shakespeare was very promising. Him and Pukki as a front two next season will cause all sorts of havoc for the opposition with strength, pace and intelligence.

As Smith has already highlighted, the service is now the crucial jigsaw piece. Dowell is a very good player have in a Champs squad but if we want to be in the top 2 spots then we need the very best in the league (like Buendia was, like Wilson was for Fulham providing for Mitrovic).

Is there a Lallana, Hoolahan type creative maestro from League one/Champs who is very highly regarded?

No, Pukki would have.

Buendia probably wouldn't though, neither would Farke.

Ah fair do's, I suspect this younger Finnish lad would struggle to get one though.
