Is the Tory party dead and buried?

Recommended Posts

No, because they have a long history of re-inventing themselves, this current right wing lurch will end one day.

During Blair's tenure they said the Tories would never govern again. Well they didn't need to with him at the helm.

But when Labour turned to its left leanings after Sir Tony, the country said no.

England is more right centre than anything else. So the Tories will always govern more than Labour.

Doubt it, I'd argue elections have been won over the last forty years on who promised the lowest taxes, irrespective of what that meant to public services.

Blair only came to power because he promised to match Tory policy and not put up taxes in the first term and had Murdoch's support as well.
