Danel Sinani Huddersfield Debut

Recommended Posts

Noticed that Sinani made his full debut for Huddersfield in their Carabao Cup game against Everton in the week and that he also started their 4-0 win over Reading in the Championship yesterday. Had a look at a Huddersfield message board and here is a selection of their comments about him (they seemed impressed).

Thought he looked really promising. Travelled well with the ball and defo gave us more attacking threat. Wasn’t afraid to be available for a pass and not scared of going at a man. Might be that no.10 that we need to link with the lone striker once he’s properly fit

Lovely passer, has a great attacking instinct. It was another punt, but fair play to the club, if last night is anything to go by he looks like another punt that will pay off. I'd stick with the same starting line-up for Reading. And if we do change it, I hope Sinani losing his place isn't one of those changes. Offers something that nobody else in the squad appears capable of. VERY encouraging first start for the club.

Liking the look of this lad. When he gets fully up to match fitness we could have a real player on our hands. Good link up play, particularly with Sorba, unlucky not to score & played on the front foot.

He looks a good player someone who if selected regularly could get us a few goals!!.

Hugill, Hernandez, McCallum, Sinani, and possibly Famewo are all an insurance policy against relegation at this point and the likelihood that we'd need to shed a few high earners if we got relegated this time.

If we stay up I doubt we'll ever see them play for us again.

McCallums a strange one, genuinely thought he had potential to step up.

Just very raw. He didn't have the usual youth system upbringing so he needs experience elsewhere but he's a fantastic natural talent. I watch Coventry a bit, I'm not a fan but I've seen them live with my mate before, he's a great footballer but his positioning and one v one defending needs serious improvement if he's to play for us, a bit like Bali Mumba in that respect.
