pete 371 Posted April 18, 2021 Last nights result means Daniel will not win a monthly MotM award during this promotion season. Of little concern given promotion has been won and the title needs 5 points which can be won by beating Watford. And after Watford's non performance in what is a local derby victory is definitely on the cards. However Pukki and Hanley hobbling off does give cause for concern. In what was a disappointing evening following a triumphant afternoon of positive results left a bad taste in the mouth. When we were reduced to ten man we seemed to lose all cohesion and did not adapt to a system to deal with the loss of a player.
Wrathofthefarkely 54 Posted April 18, 2021 I also left a bad taste in a mouth last night. But you're right.
Branston Pickle 4,145 Posted April 18, 2021 (edited) Tbh it is what it is - I’m sure no one really cares that much, but nonetheless it would be interesting to know if it has ever happened before. You still half expect him to be snubbed for manager of the season, too. Edited April 18, 2021 by Branston Pickle

We almost always have a greater percentage of possession. Although great at winning back the ball and turning over possession, our intricate football is severely negated when a man down. Bournemouth needed the win. Our players already knew they were promoted. They learned from pretty early on that the referee was a d*ckhead. They had to play with ten men for all but twenty minutes. It was a strange situation to be in and yet, as many have said, it did leave a bad taste in the mouth.
