Millwall's next two games off

Recommended Posts

It may not seem huge news on the surface for us, but those two games are against Bournemouth and Watford. If we can get something against Watford then we have the opportunity to open up a real gap, and this could potentially cause them both a fixture pile-up later on.

In fact we play twice before Bournemouth next kick a competitive ball now.

Imagine what that gap could be if we continue our good form. Could be a real mountain for them to climb.

True but very bad news it’s getting into football clubs, could be a problem for everyone too.

Someone posted about the season and PPG. I don't think it will get to that point, but if numbers escalate (as I'm fearing) then fixture congestion could become a problem. Thankfully at the moment the games being affected are few.

Although this will mean Watford and Bournemouth have games in hand, if we manage to get something out of the game against Watford and beat QPR it could put massive pressure on them, as we would quite some way ahead of them and they would have fixtures crammed in.
