barclayboy1902 6 Posted August 7, 2020 Do you think we would be able to tempt someone like wes Morgan to guide us back up at the first attempt? Yes he's 36 but been there done that, just the sort to stiffen up the back 4, will be on a tidy wage but may fancy a challenge after slipping out of favour
NeymarSmith 136 Posted August 7, 2020 Hmm personally I think he is over the hill (in terms of quality for us) Yes he brings leadership and experience, but for what he would cost in wages I don't think he is worth it. Add to that, that as said above I don't think he is good enough anymore I'd say no. I think when they said add experience of this league they meant more players in there prime rather than swansong season players

cambridgeshire canary 7,799 Posted August 7, 2020 (edited) Wes Morgan? Really? Whoever next.. Les Ferdinand? Emile Heskey? Edited August 7, 2020 by cambridgeshire canary
NeymarSmith 136 Posted August 7, 2020 If I could offer a different choice, Cameron Carter VIckers. I think he's 23 but has had a fair few games in the championship. Wouldn't cost too much as last year at spurs and not going to be making the grade there. Think he could do a job for us and have time to get to that next stage with us. Also would have a decent resale value as young enough to have a few good years and be snapped up.

Midlands Yellow 4,682 Posted August 7, 2020 Captain Morgan would be preferable.
