It is now 4 times in last few matches where we have conceded in this period and lost points which if not conceded would have probably resulted in enough points to put us clear at the top. Bristol C, Nottingham Forest, Derby Co and now Sheff Utd, Probably all could have been won if we had been more practical to see out the first half. Was hoping we would get to half time yesterday in the lead which looked likely until Buendia's crazy push. You would have hoped Farke would have instructed the players to be aware at this and be wary at this important time. All of the above goals could have been avoided. This is right, do you not think that our opponents have a game plan? that they come into a game with tactics of their own? Sure we've conceded on the stroke of half time a little too often but with possibly the youngest back four in the Division, currently lying second, is it necessary to find fault in what is a perfectly acceptable result? He further states that he hopes this trait stops so we can stay in the promotion picture. That is what i call finding fault in some perfectly acceptable results. But -3 is constant with the first half record. 76-90 is our best at +11 and 2nd half as a whole is +19. It can only show a trend and that trend clearly points to us being stronger later in the game. Although I would suggest 76-90 is at least 18 mins and often more. GOALS PER 15 MIN. Thirsty, the data sample used for that particular graph came from the EPL. But the overall pattern it illustrates is reproduced in all the studies I've seen, irrespective of league, as indeed is the contrast between first and second halves. Measured by time of goals scored, the vast majority of teams are "stronger" in the second half than the first, as well as being "weaker" measured by timing of goals conceded.
