Syteanric 1 Posted January 14, 2017 Before the fans want him sacked...Reason being is the board, as they have for the last 3 managers, will dither, dally and not take a risk.Theres no urgency to move the club forwards and it doesn''t matter if the manager is Rowett, Neil or Pep Guardiola... we might manage to go back up but the circle will continue. There''s no ruthlessness or bluddy mindedness to suceed at the top level and until this changes then it matters little who comes in.Passion and work ethic comes from the top.If AN goes don''t let up on the board...smiths out. Crafty Canary 547 Posted January 14, 2017 Which is why I detest having majority shareholders as they can do what they like and to hell with the rest. That is not mysogenism as some claim especially as half the majority owners are male and I feel the same about a male majority owner.
king canary 8,754 Posted January 14, 2017 The owners seemed to get it right for a few years when they stepped back and let more qualified folks take control. We''ve regressed since then and our board is now rife with nepotism. However one thing Neil couldn''t complain about is financial backing- he''s spent about £50m since he''s been here and yet we''re in a worse position than when he arrived.
