pete 319 Posted April 24, 2016 Now Fat Sam wants another 3 to stave off relegation unlikely I would say 6 points possible Stoke and Everton. 6 points for Magpies for easier fixtures may do it unless Palace decide they need to play after good result at Arsenal and Pardew wants to stuff em. Leaving city needing 6 points which seems the impossible dream.

damn that Ralph Coates! 47 Posted April 24, 2016 got to keep faith, but not often Arsenal don''t score for 2 games, when motivated to get third place..... Sunderland/Newcastle keep getting useful points against expectation sadly.
TIL 1010 4,748 Posted April 24, 2016 Let''s be positive and say Arsenal will not score for three games running............yeah righto. [:$]
KeiranShikari_2 0 Posted April 24, 2016 Reckon they need 4 points to be certain. Doubt we''ll get 3. Doubt Newcastle will do much more than us.
damn that Ralph Coates! 47 Posted April 24, 2016 Who thinks we need to actually beat Arsenal? With Newcastle playing Villa for example and overtaking us, do we rely on getting our wins against Watford and perhaps Everton or do we go for 3 points in every single game from now on, at the expense of not getting 1??? FenwayFrank 2,459 Posted April 24, 2016 On soccer Saturday yesterday the pundits reckoned both Newcastle and Sunderland would get 7 points and we would be lucky to get 4 !
K Lo 224 Posted April 24, 2016
On soccer Saturday yesterday the pundits reckoned both Newcastle and Sunderland would get 7 points and we would be lucky to get 4 !
They might be right !!As a neutral, if you saw Norwich''s scores from their last two games, you''d hardly think that they were fighting for survival, would you ?I can''t see how we''ll get out of the bottom 3 now. We''ll get thumped away at Aresenal. Sunderland will grab another point away at Stoke.
BroadstairsR 2,168 Posted April 25, 2016 Anything could happen and we have to hope for the best. Our current situation is far, far better than the Adams-inspired relegation where we just predictably ticked off the defeats against top sides in order to arrive at the inevitable. This time it is not inevitable. It''s more or less even-Steven as far as I see it with neither Sunderland nor Newcastle being that much better or that much worse than us.A staunch fight from any of the three could produce a winner in it all. We stand as much chance as they do, IMO, with Sunderland now having the slight edge and Newcastle being at a slight disadvantage. It changes by the week.A point at the Emirates could well put us back in the driving seat. BroadstairsR 2,168 Posted April 25, 2016 Adding that Manchester United have a Cup Final to concern them, whilst the season is now completely beached for both Everton and Watford.
