Nice to see its not just us that Clattenburg has it in fo - just gave an awful penalty decision against Man City at the Etihad as well - may have just grazed Sterlings elbow but hit him mainly in the ribs and he also jumped with his back to the player

as much as i hate clattenburg.....it should be pointed out that of the 3 games he''s refereed us this season....all at home to leicester,swansea and southampton.....we''ve won 2 of them!

i have to say that the decision to give that was one of the worst i`ve ever seen on a football pitch. i genuinely don`t know what he was thinking, the spurs players looked as bemused as most of the crowd...

Whereas Mr Clattenburg''s decision was highly debatable it was very encouraging to see Robert Madley''s decision when, at last, a penalty was given for a forward being wrestled to the ground in the penalty area in the Watford match.

All too often referees, Mr Clattenburg included, seem to turn a blind eye to those offences.

It was also notable that after that decision was given the amount of holding and shirt pulling in the penalty area reduced considerably.

Perhaps Mr Clattenburg and his fellow referees should take note of Mr Madley''s decision and do likewise ......... but past experience will probably mean that Mr Madley is criticised by his fellow referees for giving the penalty!
