We simply dont need 5 strikers in a lone striker set up so it seems inevitable that either hooper or lafferty will be leaving (you can rule out grabban - we would have sold him if we wanted him out)

 

Given hoopers wages and our long attempts to offload him this would hardly be a shock if it does happen.

I was under the impression that Hooper had almost joined Fulham on deadline day, even having had a medical, but it got scuppered at our end - presumably linked in with Grabban/Gayle and/or Naismith.

I wouldn''t think we want to reduce our options too much as things stand, but that''s not to say we won''t see another loan go out; maybe there are a few decent stop-gap players we can get in if we need (Nolan was mentioned - I''d think he is still up to the job).
