Standard Beagle 0 Posted July 23, 2015 Taken from Qatari sports website QatarSP. "English Premier League side Norwich City are chasing Al Sadd winger Khalfan Ibrahim. The 27 year old has been impressive for the Qatari side, scoring 76 goals for the club. It is said a bid of £2million will bring the winger to Carrow Road." Dr. Ink 0 Posted July 24, 2015 Surprised that no one has picked up on this. I don''t know if it''s an actual sign of interest by NCFC, but Mr Beagle doesn''t post very often, so often a sign that he has made the effort to share some genuine news.IMO just the sort of player we need. The right age, skillful and pacey with the ability to get the crowd on their feet. A bit of an unknown in the European leagues, and could be a massive hit, or a relatively small loss. He has a bit of a cult following in Qatar, and this would be the perfect signing to raise our profile on one of lands with serious money, particularly with Qatar more in the spotlight due to the World Cup on the horizon.Sign him up Mr Mac, stop dithering. Mr Angry 2,016 Posted July 24, 2015 A couple of things come to mind-Qatari clubs often pay massive wages, would he be on more than we could afford? And would he get a work permit?

Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted July 24, 2015 Qatari players often get linked to Premier League clubs, usually around the time they are renegotiating their contracts at their existing clubs. Weird that...He wouldn''t get a work permit under the new rules and his best days are probably behind him in all honesty. Was a cracking player when at his best but his form has been on the side for a couple of years at least. He has some great highlight reels on YouTube I''m sure, a real flair player.
