  1. Hughton has had four Premier League transfer windows, made 19 signings, spent probably £45m, has very few Lambert signings left in the squad. He has taken us backwards, we are 16th, 1 point away from 18th with the team in 18th having a game in hand. Apparently Malky has spent more than Hughton (he didn''t, he spent £35m, Hughton has spent £45m to £50m), but even if he had spent more money on players.... he was sacked in 12th. We are 16th. Hughton signed two goalkeepers, four defenders, two midfielders, and three strikers in his first season. But apparently he had a Lambert squad. Reminds me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUl6PooveJE
  2. There would only be four or five posters left and the only threads would be started by LDC and Jas the Barclay King. May as well delete the forum.
  3. It amuses me how fussy some Norwich fans are being when it comes to a new manager. Our current one is leading us to relegation, we are hardly an attractive proposition right now. If it weren''t for his love of the club he might not even be interested in a club on a downward projectory. We can stop talking about Di Matteo''s and Laudrups now. Malky is probably the best that we can hope for. If Hoddle isn''t interested in the Swansea job then he isn''t going to be interested in the Norwich job. We just have to face up to the fact that we aren''t an attractive proposition anymore, no manager wants a relegation on their CV, we aren''t going to be able to hand a new manager a big pot of cash (he will have to sell players), and we aren''t going to be offering Premier League wages. Is arrogant of Norwich fans to think that we can aim higher than Malky now. If we sacked Hughton right this minute then we''d be like Wolves, having to appoint an inexperienced caretaker. Or Malky, who is probably the only man with recent Premier League experience who would take the job.
  4. He led them to their first promotion to the Premier League, and was sacked with them in 12th. The same position that Lambert finished in when he was here. Malky isn''t my first choice but using our domination of Cardiff as a reason for not appointing him is lame. We are in our third season of Premier League football, Cardiff in their first. They got an away point. It was our failure not theirs. It is the simple fact that we can''t even beat the promoted sides which show that we deserve to get relegated and underlines Hughtons complete failure to get the best out of a squad which has been assembled with three consecutive years of Premier League revenue. Cardiff weren''t expected to get anything out of us at Carrow Road. Besides, we dominated them the other week against Solskjear who most people wanted here. If we get relegated though then I can''t see the harm in Malky. If he can bring us back up playing football which works well in the Championship and then take us up to 12th by whichever means necessary then sounds like a strong candidate. If we don''t find a man who can bring us back up within two seasons then that is us done for a decade or more. If Malky can get us out of the Championship playing his brand of football then he will do.
  5. The man to bring us back up when Spurs replace him at the end of the season?
  6. "Yes, it''s easy to look for scapegoats but that''s not the point of this thread" Looks like he is being scapegoated to me. He has been inconsistent and mostly poor this season, but short memories hey? Second in our player of the season award last season, 6 assists and 6 goals. He hasn''t become a poor player overnight, he is suffering a lack of confidence like most of our team. I don''t like this sudden scapegoating of players. Snodgrass. Our last goal was scored by Snodgrass, the goal before that was assisted by Snodgrass. Pilkington was heavily criticised for a performance fairly recently. We need a new manager, the players are good enough when they have belief and guidance. Blaming the players is counter productive, the buck stops at Hughton and a new manager needs to try and get the best out of the players that we have. Including Snodgrass.
  7. The truth is that morty spends a lot of time away from home, probably in the company of lots of men. What you witness daily from morty on here is his pent-up sexual frustration. I don''t know if morty is away at the moment, but if he isn''t then maybe his missus has dry pants.
  8. Another predictable one liner from Morty. You need to add some new ones to your repertoire, getting very stale.
  9. "People get what they deserve on here frankly" What did I get exactly? Yet another highly predictable Morty one liner? Oh no, better ring my mummy and cry.
  10. "It has been pointed out to me that heroin addiction can be cheaper" I think you have probably been misinformed.
  11. I hazard a guess that RVW will be on a lot more than £25k to £30k considering our average wage is £23k, Probably more like £40k to £50k, the striker premium. 10% signing on fees to consider too.
  12. The only stat which matters is points. We need enough of them to stay in the division, and tonight we made no progress in obtaining them.
  13. We are also missing our little Irish wizard.
  14. Satoshi Nakamoto you may come in handy in our revolution, by designing the new decentralised Norfolk Dollar* *99/100 Norwich fans won''t understand this.
  15. How many times are you going to use "luck" as an excuse LDC? What the f*ck is "luck", does it even really exist? Luck is a concept subscribed to by those who want a convenient excuse for failure.
  16. "Luckily there will be 3 worse teams than us" Fulham, Cardiff, and..... who is the third exactly?
  17. "especially when none of the three hold the real power" Are you suggesting that Delia and MWJ are running a dictatorship, and that our board doesn''t operate on a one man one vote system? As a shareholder in a PLC that would concern me, do you have any evidence to support this claim? "The board have backed the manager as they have previous managers with cash" Not in this past window they didn''t. "They are not going to send what they don''t have or can responsibly borrow" Well I raised the possibility that we are skint recently but that was hypothetical. Are you suggesting that we didn''t have the funds to make player acquisitions in January without being forced to borrow money? If so I''d love to see the evidence again? Hughton and McNally had previously said that there was room to spend money in January, so it would greatly concern me as a fan and shareholder if there had been an event to change this situation. I look forward to clarification. "Whilst CH is undoubtedly a defensive minded manager it is not the case that we don''t create chances" I''m sorry, but you seem to have failed to notice that I''d typed "chances" accidentally, when intending to write the word "changes". "The board won''t sack him now" Indeed, which is why I am calling for changes to the board, as a result of their failure to change managers prior to the January window, and subsequent failure to invest in the team after deciding to stick with the one that they have.
  18. At least season tickets might be cheaper. Or even better, free.
  19. "But the true question is will we see you with a season ticket if we are in the championship?" With no rebate on offer this season we will be paying top 6 Premier League prices for Championship football, and maybe there will be a lot of people who won''t tolerate that.
  20. Before the match you said that the failure of our substitutes to score goals is "irrelevant". What is your view now?
