  1. I think Bunn is exactly what you''d expect from a reserve goalkeeper. Some good shot stopping with the odd nervous moment. He will do the job until Ruddy comes back but won''t be able to put up much of a challenge for the starting place.
  2. Stupid comment - how do you know they are a ''joke'' until you''ve seen them play in the team?
  3. For me it''s1. Hoolahan - pure work ethic and a lot of quality on the ball. We''ve barely created anything without him and was a shame it took Houghton a bit to realise how important he is.2. Bassong - Has been a rock at the back for us the majority of the time.3. Snodgrass - Good signing, works hard going forward as well as defending. Has been exciting and can put in a good cross!
  4. I''ve always wondered about this as well, how it used to be a loud fortress 5 or so years back. But I think one thing that may impact the crowd noise is that we are in the prem and maybe we have increased in fans paying money to watch premier league football rather than to go and support the team vocally? I''m not saying it''s wrong, if people pay the money they can do what they want while watching the games and it doesn''t make them any less of a fan.
  5. Confidence does a lot for a team. If we beat Spurs then QPR all of a sudden everyone will be positive again and not highlight the problems as much. Just shows how fickle football fans are. The team would be likely to be more confident in themselves and especially with the crowd behind them instead of criticising.
  6. Against Luton maybe we could have closed down quicker but thats always risky as you close down higher up the pitch creating gaps nearer our goal for the other team to work in. However, i do agree with passing quicker, especially games like yesterdays, it was very lethargic and slow which made it easy for Luton to sit back and make it difficult. All of a sudden in the 2nd half we tried even more long balls to Holt, then they scored and it was like a switch flicked and there was urgency but it was too late.
