  1. Not sure the Hughton was the Outstanding candidate. A good candidate yes, but we never even looked at anyone else so it''s easy to be lead to believe he was head and shoulders above the rest. For the record. I think Liverpool have made a massive mistake appointing Rodgers. It wasn''t too long ago he was being sacked by Reading. The media can spin how good someone really is
  2. If he goes then they''re gonna show their ambition and appoint John Deehan
  3. But at least admit his total Premier League experience is less than 1/2 a season.
  4. I''m not debating who would be manager. I just don''t think we should be talking about Hughtons Experience when it is actually pretty threadbare. Whatever the reasons for him being sacked he only had half a season in the Premier League. I just think we should remember this when talking about him.
  5. Can you please tell me why people keep referring to Hughton as a "proven" manager? He''s had half a season in Premier League. Gary Megson and John Deehan have got more than that. I don''t want to knock Hughton and I hope he proves to be a wizard, but he''s not a Manager with a vast amount of experience so lets not make him into something he''s not.
  6. QPR should be more embarrassed as:1. They were are home2. They''ve spent Millions on established players3. They didn''t lose their manager over the summer4. They haven''t been tipped for the drop as much5. They''ve all been sitting really smug assuming that they''d get to Europe this season (i know that 1 game does not a season make)Can''t wait til next weeks Basement Battle!
  7. They scored more goals than we had proper chances. The Urinals were pretty even in the first half against City and they had there fair share of chances. Even after the Man City game there were people on 606 saying Fergie had got the whole season wrong and it was time to go. I think we should be allowed to vent. I don''t think Hughton should go but I don''t think he was a great appointment
  8. This is a valid point. But i don''t think the result is what concerns everyone. It was the manner in which we just didn''t turn up. No one performed. It was the worst performance in years and, after all the hype of CH being the man for the job, it was a major let down
  9. "A Manager appearing to be out of his depth"This one line sums it all up. He''s not done anything of note other than get a recently relegated team out of one of the poorest Championships in years. He''s a lovely guy, but what has he done that made him the perfect man for Norwich? We should have aimed higher
  10. Sadly, we don''t have any choice but to stick with him. I pray that he proves each and every one of the us doubters wrong. I worry that if it all goes wrong we will be back where we were, pre Lambert. I hope we see some serious passion when we play QPR.......
  11. Get the feeling that Hughton is gonna play "MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY"
  12. I have been a Norwich fan for over 25 years. I now live in America but follow us most weeks through better TV coverage than I could get back home. Today has to be the worst performance I have seen in 5+ years (excluding Colchester at home). We were dire. No one in the team seemed to bother. After the first goal I worried that we would be losing by more than the 6 we lost there back in ''05. The arrival of Hughton was greeted like he was made for Norwich. And I have to ask why? He has never done anything as a Manager. He had a season at Birmingham and a season and a bit at Newcastle. Neither were bad, yet neither set the world on fire. Yes, he won the Championship with Newcastle (so did Warnock with QPR), but they had a very good squad that stayed together after relegation. But apart from that, he has done nothing of note.We did so well in getting up with a prosperous manager, why did we not aim better? Why did we settle for someone who has not really achieved much. (This is what Lambert was and he proved to be a forward thinking manager.) But we are in the Premier League and we should have aimed forward and upwards. I can''t see what Hughton has done that should have made us trust in him? A nice guy. but not what we need right now. A manager with more than 20 games Premier League Experience would have been a preferenceToday made me sick. No Discipline, No Passion, No Formation, No Chances and No Hope.........
