  1. Surely this is just of interest to those "long distance" types pretending to support Norwich just becasue their in the Premiership. "Local" fans can just drop their longhand messages off at Archant Towers and have some lacky there type them up.
  2. Bubble burst - at least we won''t hear any more from those ghastly "new fans". The long distance/Lake District brigade were an embarassing jinx.
  3. Good! Then we can wave goodbye to all those ghastly new fans from nowhere near Norwich   Norwich City - a LOCAL club for LOCAL people!
  4. Oh yes, I''d forgotten our ranks were being swelled by these odious attention seekers goose stepping round the hallowed turf with their laughable banners. Look at me, LOOK AT ME!! I''ve come all the way from Thetford. Or the Lake District. These guys are the TRUE heroes - they should be pulled in a golden chariot by the first team squad to be worshipped as living gods. Or at the very least inducted en masse into the Hall of Fame.
  5. To those who bleat about not being able to get tickets, there still plenty available for Sunday. Why is that? Possibly because legions of our massive fan base who would sell out an 80,000 seated stadium each week aren''t that bothered about seeing us play an unfashionable team? If you only want to see games against big teams you''re only really want to see the opposition, not Naaaridge. Real fans huh? Wonder how the Norwich/Wigan halfy half scarves will sell?
  6. Why is Jonny Howson wearing it?
  7. Queuing up for Toon tickets bright and early this morning, there were two Germans behind me.
  8. No Smokebomb, you started a thread entitled "We let ourself down". Obviously old red nose wouldn''t agree!
  9. Couldn''t agree more! Feel a bit sorry for Jackson, ran down lost causes, won plenty of free kicks in dangerous areas. Far more threatening than changing system Wes. Strange to think that plenty of the non-attending stream watchers seem to think we "let ourselves down"?
  10. You shouls have founx yourself a better internet stream. Those of us actually at the game know you couldn''t be any wider lf the mark. Are you from the Lake District by any chance?
  11.   As a other who was actually at the game, I didn''t winess a y booing of Wilbraham. There was plenty of cheering for his unremitingly positive contribution. Do you see now, LDC, why perhaps those who actuallly go to games may be a little better informed? It''s great you like City and your opinion does matter - except when it''s woefully ill-informed.
  12. LDC, I''ve got a soft spot for Calgary Flames and I''ve seen them play in the flesh several times over the years BUT do you think I go on to Flames messages boards to turn innocuous threads into rants about how loyal a fan I am, the thousands of pounds and transatlantic flights it takes me to see a game? Do I work myself up into a lather because those who regularly get don to the Saddledome don''t accept that the droves of once a year tourists are perhaps not so in tune with the delicate nuances of the club? Why I start screaming insults at these narrow-minded Calgarians, my monitor covered in spittle and bile? No, I''d just be happy in the knowledge that I like the Flames.
  13. And who turned this from the original discussion point, scarves to your personal bugbear, the amount of time and money you outlay on following Naaaridge? That would be you. It always has to come back to what an uber fan you are. It''s all rather tiresome. Yawn!!
  14. By the way "I don''t mind if you disagree with me". Yet another tolerant, reasoned outburst - a triumph!
  15. Two grand,eh? Those tourist halfy halfs  certainly don''t come cheap! Thank goodness I walk to the ground.
  16. Hmmm, have Robert Green or Carlton Cole played for England since West Ham''s relegation? You could stretch your point even further by referencing  Teddy Sheringham turning out for League One Colchester
  17. Err, which England internationals "are found regularly plying their trade in the Championship"????
  18. Carefull now, you''ll be upsetting LDC in his role as unofficial spokesman for the infrequent attendees. Would those who have been upholding their right to wear halfy halfs be comfortable with a blue end depicting some sort of carthorse??
  19. You are an odd fish LDC. You state at the bottom of each post that "I don''t mind if you disagree with me..." when clearly you do mi d a great deal - those who don''t share your views are routinely written off as morons,  Neanderthals etc. You also seem to read almost any post as a slight against those, who like yourself, attend games less frequently and embark on a personal crusade when, perhaps, no such slight was intended. Take a deep breath (into your half and half scarf?)
  20. The guy with the badge stall on the bridge has been doing a roaring trade in them all seasons. Methinks LDC may have quite a collection of these controversial garments. Perhaps we could have a whip round and get him a Manyoo one on Sunday.
  21. With the ultimate glory hunter fixture approaching, are there any circumstances in which the sporting of the afore-mentioned is acceptable behaviour?
  22. I seem to recall watching the relegation match from the mini terrace between the River End and the South Stand because it was "lucky"!
  23. That''s the fella! One of their greatest ever players according to Wikipedia! Scored his lat goal for the club in the white tights game. Another one from.the fading memory banks. We got sent down by losing to a Leicester team who were already relegated. A ginger scored their goals. Who was he?
  24. Does anyone remember the Leicester player who wore a pair of white tights against us hears ago? Must have been about 1980ish
