Had quite a shocker today and doesn’t look the same player since his injury comeback. As such he’s rightly taken some real stick. He has though played 178 games for City, and has acquitted himself well during many of those, often very well. Certainly leaves it all on the pitch. It looks like his time is could well be have to move on. He’s been a great servant and helped bring Omobanideli through. Just hope if JHT leaves him in next week that he’s not booed. He deserves better.

I see Ben Godfrey is linked to a £12.7m move to Lyon. Does anyone know if we are entitled to a sell on fee?

Ricardo Top of the range you lucky thing. Does it do both BBC1 and ITV? Oh and how’s Benny in Crossroads doing these days?😄

It was 50 years ago today

I remember travelling up from Rugby for the game. One of my first. Got absolutely soaked in a downpour at the end of the game. Does anyone have the starting 11? -
Thanks as ever Ricardo. Seems to me that Dean is starting to impart his style and ethics onto the players and even if if we couldn't find that essential finish, we may be beginning to feel that we can at least survive the season.

A very optimistic plea for help

Thanks both for the info. Appreciated. Am I correct in thinking we went ahead in the promotion game you refer to? I remember returning to the Den soon after and I seem to recall Peter Silvester missing a fairly easy header right in front of me and the Wall supporters charging our fans when we scored. Cheers Bolland -
I need help if anyone can recount details of an away game at Millwall in the early 1970's. A friend wants me to recount at a birthday bash but I can recall so little other than the match ended 2-2 and Eamon Dunphy accused us of being animals after the game. What made it memorable for my friend was that we for directions at Euston... and was told to get off at Mile End with the ground a short walk away. As I learnt to my horror was that this advise was useless as Mile End is the other side of the Thames to The Den so we ended up walking the length of the Rotherhithe Tunnel then still needing a taxi to the ground. We missed the first 20 mins by which time the score was 1-1. It was a hard ol game thus the Eamon quote but it has to be said they were no angels. Does anyone have any addtional info that can help. Scorers maybe. Any titbit would help. Thanks Bolland

Any idea what sort of midfielder this guy is? I.e. Ball winner or box to box. We are going to need a long term replacement for Alex Tettey if he is not retained at the end of the season and with Reed going back to Saints.

I was at the WBA Cup game as well. I was right behind the shot as it hit the net I remember shouting to get him closed down as he set off on his run at the defence. As soon as he let fly you could tell it was goal bound. Without the net I swear it would have had my head off. RIP Cyrille. Good guy.

Just wondered how much we get for a shirt sponsorship deal in the Championship these days. Anyone got an idea?

Ricardo Thanks for the report as ever. As a Midland Canary of no small age, I reply on your voice of reason to judge the current state and progress of the team. Hence my current bout of depression and urgent need for a little alcoholic pick me up. It looks like the lack of defensive additions is now coming home to roost. Maybe we need to go for two defensive midfielders to dig out some hard points. Was also wondering. Does Redmond seem to play far better for England U21s than for us? Any thoughts on where we should go from here greatly appreciated.
