League has become a joke, money knocking the competitive spirit out the game. Doesn''t help we have poor manager , why take becchio when never going to use him . I am sorry but I will sound like one of those people who drone on about the the old days , but I do believe it was better then , all the games kicked off at 3pm on a Saturday, the players were numbered 1_12 and cup matches were special events, also all the teams had players from Britain . If you went to a cup match you would see the same players as you would see in the league . A visit to man utd would guarantee seeing best, charlton,law,siles ect. Also all this business with subs coming on with one minute to go would never happen . Having said all that I still enjoy watching the game but feel it has been spoilt.

All this resting players is not fair on the fans feel sorry for the city fans tonight, all that way to see our manager play half a team , the club should refund all their entrance and travel fees. Players were never rested years ago and thought nothing of playing two games a week . Disgrace tonight one look at the team sheet was enough to see we never wanted to get through . I must say although I totally disagree with taking hooper off we were unlucky . David Marshall was on fantastic form and any strikers would have had a problem to beat him We must play hooper and the wolf up front together give it a chance , thought elamander was great when he came on with all three on may have made a difference Fer was out of order let the club down shame it will be headlines tommorow

I am sorry to say tactics are wrong . Should have both hooper and the wolf up front . If he has to go now is the time not when we are well adrift at the bottom , our saving grace at the moment is palace and Sunderland performances but if they improve we have had it. Can''t see where points are going to come from at the moment . Got nothing to lose by giving murphy and becchio a chance as well , might seem mad but who knows can''t do any worse

Why do we have a different team every match , this does not give them a chance to get to know how each other plays , the clue is a team meaning it should be just that , the team did ok v Everton so just one change was needed snodgrass to replace Bennett . There has to a period of getting to know each other changing every week destroys this . We will improve .

Yes it is quiet, we do need to strengthen our squad as we will get problems with players out for one reason or another, think its where we went wrong last summer . Hope not going to make same mistake again. there are one or two bargains out there worth a chance, and of course there is still hooper , but Celtic seem to think he worth more than he is .

My favourite of all time , we do. Hear it now but not like in the mid 70s you will never walk alone, I remember all the ground even parts of the main stand being a mass of green and yellow scarfs and the sound rebounding off the tin roofs, fantastic times .
