1. There wont be an issue. Taking legal action is a huge waste of money.   All the players who have left were employed by a company that no longer exists.
2. I hear of a clause that Lambert was allowed to talk to a "bigger" club The club do not believe that Aston Villa at the time were a bigger club and their league position reflected that.
3. His career was ended playing against Norwich!!! Still hes married to John Deehans daughter so perhaps she fancies a move back to Norfolk
4. Its hardly been a transfer frenzy has it   Week Commencing     Number of   transfers 4th June 18 11th June 16 18th June 39 25th June 29
5. The euros will be over and managers and chairmen alike will be returning to work. The trickle of transfers thats been happening recently will turn into a flood. Thats what I think anyway.
6. Thats football for you! If a player / manager leaves without the club pushing them (their demand) they are bound to get stick. If a club forces them to leave (and they were legendry) then they are more likely to be applauded (Malky)
7. So Villa want them Norwich want Rooney and Ronaldo but thats not happening either
8. If he places bids for our players the club don''t have to accept them even if they want to sell. They can also accept an identical bid from another club if they wanted, while still rejecting villas bid. As for the compo claim if he''s under contract he''s it''s been broken and villa will pay and may get fined too.
9. up until the 70''s kit colour changes were quite common - its only since then that things have calmed down so define how far tradition needs to go back?   Some clubs still alter home colours Crystal Palace last did this in 2008 Luton often switch between white and orange home colours
10. Calderwood would be the likely choice, however having mangement experience himself he may fancy a crack at getting the Brum job himself.   What are your thoughts on who it may be?
11. The last man to work under Harry and go into management (Adams) flopped big time
12. In early prem games he wasn''t playing great and was dropped. Lambert had faith and kept reintroducing him into the 1st team. Other clubs may not be as patient and he could be dropped for good.
13. Lots of crime there many serious i know many people from Brum who wouldnt go near there if you paid them. Who would ever want to go there from lovely Norwich. At least in Norwich you can walk alone without a bodyguard!
14. when we go 4-0 up "Lambert Whats The Score?, Lambert Lambert Whats The Score"
15. IMO i dont think Megson has ever been a good manager
16. Is what we will be signing when we are 4-0 up against villa
17. Hes just appointed Ian Wright as his 1st team coach at MK, I wonder if he would bring him too if he was appointed.
18. I think making him manager would be a huge risk. Good assistants dont always make good managers - John Deehan and Peter Grant and Gary Megson are good proof of that for our club. And the highest profile failure from assistant to manager has got to be Brian Kidd.
19. No but if I had a contract my company would be taking me to court for breach of it.
20. Good assistants dont always make good managers, look at Brian Kidd and even John Deehan Culverhouse would be a huge risk
21. If it happens then we need to make a decent appointment, weve tried the cheap option in the past and look what disaster that has brought. To name a few Deehan Megson Hamilton Gunn Grant
22.
Am I the only one who still finds MK Dons distasteful?
I dont agree with what happened at the time, Sadly if it hadnt been wimbledon to MK it could have easily been Wimbledon to Hull, Dublin or god knows where. Likewise it could have been QPR or Luton to MK What wimbledon fans did was ensure the floodgates did not open for this to be a regular occurance and i applaud them for this. Another team may have not had the fan passion and just let it happen and people may not have battered an eyelid. But what has happened has happened, MK are practically a new team these days and made certain arrangements with AFCW to ensure the history is in its correct place even though it does not really belong to either club now. As said above its time to move on. All this all began over 10 years ago. AFCW are now a league club MK have built up a young fanbase a lot of who are probably younger than when this all began.
23. I was at university in Bournemouth at the time I remember I kept calling the box office and it kept saying there were too many people on the line and hung up. Eventually I got through must have cost me a fortune but my then flat mate also a city fan who was also trying was able to buy on the same call. On the day of the game I drove thru sailsbury, bath etc and picked up the M4 not far from the Severn bridge where it was a sea of green and yellow. The atmosphere in Cardiff was fantastic just a shame about the result. Also a shame it virtually finished Daryl Sutch''s career who was a genuine nice guy
