  2. im sure living with you isn't that bad Tilly she has to volunteer to work!
  3. to keep numbers down until more are vaccinated. Im sure you can see that. Numbers in Norfolk & Cambridge have doubled since last week, before 'freedom day' today
  4. Hopefully you will catch the Ifollow Logo that you keep avoiding. So glad youre back - NOT! For what its worth I haven't paid anything for Sky for years.
  5. not at all - if they dont have it, they cannot attend certain places, to keep others (attendees / employees) there safe. If not the freedom of those people is taken away through no choice of their own. Other than people with medical reasons not to have a jab, there is no reason not to have it.
  6. What about Ifollow Bill?! Have you found that yet?
  7. The BBC's loss is the Pink Un's gain!
  8. Totally agree and what an apt moniker too!
  9. That explains why you're on here so often! 😉
  10. I was speaking to the owner of a local newsagents a couple of weeks ago. He used to pay £30 a month for his contactless machine - a % of the transaction. Now its £300 a month, but he has no more income / sales to cover it, just the increase in people using their cards
  11. I think they can from a medical side of things, however when they have been struggling financially its a tough decision for them, to turn people away.
  12. Not too much - id have someones eye out!
  13. If more of the youngsters had it of their own free will they wouldnt have needed to. If they dont have the jabs, they cannot expect to be able to fully participate in certain things. They still have a choice - just it has consequences for all either way.
  14. It is of course subject to change! Youd be better going to Chequers, and BoJo is there currently.
  15. I remember when they filmed part of one episode of The Saint in the computer suite of Norwich Union (Aviva) in the late 80's.
  16. Its doesnt come in until end of September (and thats only for indoor venues currently) So to get in, you need your first by 5.8.21, so everyone has time.
  17. If i ever needed confirmation why im not on facebook.
  18. I think you can tell peoples age / generation from their posts here.
  19. Football is claimed as outside - so slightly different rules. Not sure about the stairwells, concourses, lounges etc
  20. Must be a typo - or his account has been hacked! 😉
  21. Totally agree, I dont know what they are waiting for.
  22. Its not about getting the cards / accounts Lakey, its about knowing, and having the confidence to use them. Ive been supporting my father (nearly 80) during the pandemic, and having got him to use contactless on the occasions it asks for his pin number he is totally flumoxed, and the pressure increases with each failed (max of 3) attempt. and he then uses another card. And that's is only at the shops - imagine the pressure he (and others in the same situation) would feel at the football when in this predicament? It should be card / contactless are strongly encouraged, but not exclusive. As ive said before, imagine the carnage when the system goes offline, and they cannot make ANY sales. (as happened when I was at an olympic event at Wembley) You last sentence is a little tasteless and judgmental in my opinion too.
  23. its a clever move from the Government. Moved the decision to a local level, so they are clear of any blame / issues that arise.
