1. oops, sorry just realised you answered my question before i posted it lol, you are a genius SWP! (and incidentally that is why your a bookie and not me, i would be bankrupt lol)
2. Good point ginge, i was just trying to be responsible lol, i like a bet myself and so long as you stay within your means it is great, SWP any chance as you work presumably for corals from your post that you could indeed confirm the odds for city not to go up, i predicted 7/2 but could be way off the mark. right, now for the market on hoolahan to get a 97th minute winner against leeds on saturay
3. Paddy power will usually offer most bets you asked for, always been very good in my experience (obviously not condoning gambling!) however for city not to go up i reckon you would do well to get anything better than 7/2, however i could speak to them and find out for definate.
4. I dont see the problem of anyone of any age wearing a city shirt, however i certainly would not hammer someone for having different views. Last season i had an away shirt printed with NCFC LEAGUE ONE TOUR on it, and not only did it start many a conversation, i also sent it into the club, got the squad to sign it and now i have a nice keepsake that is framed and on my living room wall (not that my other half likes it!)
5. I have often wondered myself whether this is the way to go 4 4 1 1, you also get the added benefit of Wes in his best positiom IMO
6. Could someone please enlighten me on how to ''quote'' things properly, i might be stupis but all it ends up as is a load of characters and letters, as you can see lol
7.
That white and green one would be an awesome away kit.
Ditto!
8.
It will depend on whether Lambert will be looking to strengthen the squad on a permanent basis as it appeared he intended with Bennett * or bring in a number of quality loans to help push us over the line. An interesting point about the 93 days. A counter point might be that any players arriving before the 27th could help us to pick up the points to make that play off final ... or even automatic spot. We have four more games to play before the 27th. That''s a quarter of our remaining games to wait to ensure they can play on the 30th May. However much of the supposition is that players can be acquired as you might pick up baked beans off a supermarket shelf. Mt personal view is that we should bring in whoever we can to strengthen the squad as soon as possible. The pace we are playing at will produce more injuries (and suspensions) and I''m not too sure if the players we have out on loan are going to be up to the qualilty needed for the next few months. * we can sign players on a permanent basis, it''s just the registration cannot be transferred over until the next transfer window is open so they arrive on a loan basis as did Barnett, Martin and McNamee - one clue is in the pre contract agreements players have been able to sign since Feb 1st.
good point, i think this is the mindset i have, go for it now, no point waiting then paying their wages untill late may when they are on holiday if we fail to make the playoffs (which for the record i think we will)
9. Now that Andrew Surman is coming back to fitness again, it begs the question, will he be beack in the starting 11. There is no doubting he is a quality player, but who would you drop, crofts has been outstanding all season, as has fox since he has had a settled run in the side, lansbury has that added quality that can make the difference in very tight games and then hoolahan/lappin, i personally feel wes should start wich would give a midfield of Crofts, Fox, Lansbury and Hoolahan. Having said that, lets not forget Korey Smith, who never lets the side down, i suppose this is what lambert wants, a selection headache, i just do not know who are the right choices, i suppose it has got us this far, so if it aint broke dont fix it, what are everyones thoughts?
10. heres to hoping your source is more Heinz than Tesco value! Great news though, he could well be the difference
11.
League 1 and 2 will be held at Old Trafford, the Championsip is still at Wembly.
hopefully legend, the play offs wont even concern us so our 90 million pound final will be at carrow road when we clinch promotion
12. "Any chance you can get off your high horse for a moment and stop trying to be so patronising. I asked a perfectly valid question as to why you think that deal would be good, and you came back with ''why not?''. No explanation as to paying £1.35m for Steve Morrison is better than having Jackson and trying to bring Bennett in, or what role Morrison would have in the team over Jackson. Instead, you had the audacity to read me the riot act about forum etiquette." Firstly, may i appologise to you Legend Iwan, i was not trying to be patronising or rude, and i regret if this is how it seemed, but to move onto your question of why? I feel that whilst jackson is a very good player, he does not seem clinical enough in front of goal, and this may be down to lack of game time, however c.martin is also in a poor run of goalscoring form so it is not just a dig a simeon jackson. from what i have seen of morison, he looks very clinical and i think he could do a really good job for us, he is also a bit more rough and ready than jackson, who i feel looks a bit lightweight, i do understand that jacksons game is more about pace, but presuming holty is going to play the majority of games, it has not really worked when the 2 of them have played together, even though in theory they are an ideal pairing, i still feel morison could slot straight in alongside holty and both would get goals, i may be wrong, it certainly wouldn''t be the first time! and to finish, i certainly was not trying to read a riot act about etiquette, i am no position to preach to anyone and i would hope not to, however if you feel it was an insult towards you please understand it was not, i am not in the business of making enemies i have never met lol! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
13.

Where exactly did i give him a hard time! lol i never said jackson has done poorly for us i just feel this could be a good deal
Why?
why not? He is not just a big lump that a lot of people seem to think he is, and my opinion that it COULD be a good deal is purely that, an opinion and beleive it or not most people have opinions and if they were all the same wouldn''t the world be a boring place, my intention was not to enrage people, i am not a jackson hater or anything of the sort, whilst he is a member of our squad i will support him
14. Where exactly did i give him a hard time! lol i never said jackson has done poorly for us i just feel this could be a good deal
15. I must point out this is not a rumour i have heard, however i would certainly be in favour of it if Lambert could make something like this happen, seems a reasonable money + player deal for both clubs and Morison would certainly fit the bill for us right now, my fingers are crossed!
16. There are no easy games, and i definately don''t class any of the games a gimmes, but then opinions are what make this great game of ours all the better i suppose, i definately think we will do palace though, as long as we defend set peices against them this time........
17.
i''m for thinking positive but its the weak teams that we struggle with remember
We do, but our away form has been good this season, weak team or not and it is about time we put that damned palace away ghost to bed now!
18. I think the next 3 games could well see us picking up a fair few points, Sheff Utd away is definately able to be won as is the Palace game, only tricky one i see is Milwall at home, however i think we will be to strong for them at home, especially as they will probably try to win the game and end up leaving spaces that Wes can make the most of with his killer passes, all in all a very positive couple of weeks me thinks!
