1. Firstly, Melbourne Heart at this stage have denied having any discussion with either Norwich or Theo.  And Theo has denied he''s going back - at this stage. The sentiment on this thread is quite pathetic.  Talk about whipping boy - is this what supporting your club is all about?  Theo had a shocker in a game in which the entire Norwich defence had a shocker.  His failure to turn up to the Gillingham fixture was inexcusable, and he copped the bollocking from his manager that was deserved.  However, even the boss''s comments at the time after speaking to Theo confirm that he was prepared to forgive.  Theo has clearly struggled to get back into contention and with a good run lately the manager isn''t about to change a winning formation. It seems that another of Theo''s unforgivable sins on these boards is that he happens to have a surname that is different to that of the average Norwich City supporter.  In some places, but presumably not within the confines of Carrow Road and environs, that attitude would be termed xenophobic.
 2. Melbourne Heart have denied any discussions with Theo.  And according to this link he doesn''t want to move either.

 4.

Maric - Poor player Askou - Tidy player Holt - Good player, might be lost at a higher level though. Whaley - Very poor Nelson - Still unsure, definately a League 1 player Tudor Jones - Not impressed so far. Wiggins - Not seen him play. Gill - Poor Hughes - Brings class to the team. McVeigh - Good so far, but will his good form remain?! Alnwick - Good keeper, but no longer our player. Theo - Could be our worst ever keeper. People talk about Gunn''s signings being great and how we owe him much thanks for those signings BUT i''m only happy with 3/4 of them. 3/4 out of 12 signings isn''t great actually. Just because Gunn bought in 12 players doesn''t mean all those 12 are good players, far from it. Gunn bought a League One side in the summer, you need a league one side with several championship players in it, we don''t have that.
Could be our worst goalkeeper ever? I cannot believe some of the rubbish on these boards some times.
Indeed - and on the basis of one league app...
 5.
lets not dismiss this bloke based on one performance, he was far from the only culprit that dark day. Otsemobor & Nelson didn''t exactly cover themselves with glory.
Agreed. I can''t believe how much Theo carried the can for what was an all-round defensive calamity.
 6.
Bobert- I''ve watched a bit of Aussie football on TV. The quality seems very very low.
I''d suggest it''s no lower than the Canaries league this season!
 7. Followed him for four seasons at Melbourne Victory.  A-league is good League 1 standard generally.  Theoklitos solid, very dependable keeper for most of that period.  Last season seemed a bit distracted but I believe driven by wanting a new challenge.  He could have easily chosen to play out his days in home comfort of Melbourne.  Having watched him over that time and having met the guy I would back 100% that he in fact does give a fcuk and was devastated by that game.   He''s not a bag of sh;te.  1-7 was a disaster, and a personal disaster for him, but he wasn''t responsible for seven goals and it was one game.
 8.
Theoklitis has never played at this level and certainly not in front of 25,000 crowds, so nerves were probably an issue that should have been considered, whereas Ben Alnwick has the experience and has played consistently well at Championship level.
Many consider the standard of the A-league, and in particular Melbourne Victory, as at least League 1 standard.  Over the last three seasons, Melbourne Victory''s home crowds have averaged over 25,000, and Theoklitos has played in front of more than 50,000. (Melbourne v Sydney 8 Dec 2006).
