1. Christ! You''re a sensitive soul aren''t you - Mention another club and you have to tell me their size in comparison to yourselves like some kind of footballing Rainman ;-)
 2. I know, and it''s refreshing - I thought that giving your Championship spot to Peterborough would have changed all that ;-)
 3. Return visits by those tempted into going tomorrow will generate further income in the future. Cowling is no fool, he knows that to be sustainable he has to boost crowds over the entire season - the biggest hurdle in achieving that is getting new/returning people into the stadium for the first time. With the media and your help he has achieved just that.

It''s also a good way to have a few heavies available if things get out of hand, it would not be the 1st time we have used the army as stewards and they dont take their duties lightly, I remember a game against Bradford City years ago where their fans got a right pasting!
I remember that - ouch!
Funny that, I remember in my days as a NCFC steward that we were called in by Colchester when you played Aldershot at Layer Road because your "usual" stewards couldn''t handle the "Burberry Boys" from Aldershot! But I am sure you will now say how much tougher they are now and of course much more professional.
Dunno mate, they''re just stewards - like anywhere else in the country they have their GCSE in crowd management and do as they''re told.
 5.
If the allocation had just been announced without Cowlings crass and inflammatory remarks, then I suspect that this match would not even have sold out !!
I know, what a great businessman eh? [:D]
 6.

That''s great, hope all our men and women in uniform receive arousing welcome from City and Colchester fans alike - I am sure they will. Just out of curiousity how many free tickets did the para''s get for the game then? One way to fill a stadium..
Not sure mate, the services lads/lasses get a special price anyway for games at the WHCS, there are always a fair number at our home games I suspect there will be more than normal for this one. I dont know where these guys will sit to watch the game there are spare seats allocated for giveaways from the club that are not included in the official (Paid) attendance figures, so they will probably be in those on the West stand.
..and if any of them are City fans will they be refused entry or " moved" ??
The Paras usually go where the Paras want to [;)]

 8.
I care about every game Norwich play, whether it''s Leeds, Tranmere or Colchester. I just don''t think this deserves anymore hype than a match against Millwall, Huddersfield or Saints. It''s Colchester who have been hyping it up to be something special, and too many City fans have got caught up in this. Personally I have no gripes with Colchester as it is always good to see such a club performing better then the facilities and support would expect. Despite the fact we are in the same division and a similar position in the table, I think most would agree Colchester are a small club compared to Norwich. Not that Norwich don''t deserve to be where we are after a string of failed managers and poor player purchases.
Yes you''re dead right, it is our cup final, well one of them...After playing Ex League Champions Leeds and Huddersfield, and ex FA Cup winners Southampton and Charlton, I''m sure we can dredge up almost as much enthusiasm to play another big club (albeit a slightly less illustrious one). [:P]Seriously, pundits bandy around the term "six pointer" far too often, but Saturday genuinely just that - if either of our clubs want to get that second automatic spot, then I would suggest that every match remaining is a bit of a "cup final"
 9.

Discovered some interesting facts on Mr Cowling! He is the 9th Richest man (boy) in East Anglia [:$] , worth around 100 million due to an online employment company, He''s a fanatical West Ham fan and once spent 50k on a fleet of 62 coaches to ferry Hammer fans to Sunderland for an FA cup tie, when he took over three years he hiked a lot of prices and the Colchester fans revolted.... Pity he wasn''t as generous to Colchester Fans like he is to his faithful hammers! [:)]
I think all but the last part were covered in the ''who owns Col Utd'' or whatever threadyep, the prices were raised, they tried to raise the prices as if we had all been paying the higher Layer Road seating prices + a bit for the new season. As a lot of us stood at layer road and don''t like having to sit we were being asked to pay the difference from standing to sitting at layer road + bit extra on top, that was a fair size jump for us but not for the ones who had been sitting all the time. That was the argument about the prices.
In Addition, the pricing plan was heavily amended by Robbie following complaints from the fans. This resulted in some lower prices, it does not take a genius to work out who makes up the shortfall.
 10. I think this board has enough Wizards, Wazzocks and Jedis already, don''t you. As for Gibson, the people of Ipswich were laughing so hard about that news story the whole of Essex heard them. And with family in Norfolk it''s not something you forget.
 11. You(pl) voted for the fella. A 1938 study - pathetic keyboard warrior - besides, I''m not playing google, I just happen to know stuff (we had proper teachers).
