  1. is he the most frustrating player we have? scared stiff to take a man on (although he has the ability/pace) turns and plays the ball back 95% of the time and never crosses a ball when he should. Perfect example, final kick of the game we had 5 in the box, he played a terrible ball to Gilmour, just get the bloody ball in the box and ask the question. Big problem yesterday were both full backs tbh, until Giannoulis came on and gave us some natural width, Max and Williams not taking anyone on, not getting to the byline and turning inside and playing square backwards balls.
  2. neither have I with Tzolis for example but everything thinks he should start. I think with a run of games he would be better,
  3. As above, I said it last year, he isn't prem quality anymore, he was, but he isn't now. Terrible all season IMO, seems to get away with it due to his clapping and 'leadership qualities', distribution is appalling and seems to be getting worse each game, has shipped 25 goals or so, surely a change is needed. Anything remotely close to the corner goes in, pathetic attempt at stopping that shot yesterday. Time to get Angus in
  4. not good enough IMO, disappears in games for half hour or so, hasn't scored or assisted a goal so far and hasn't looked likely to either, another dire signing. Looks like he lacks the fight and desire for me, too often taking the easy way out and passing back to AO
  5. correct, but there is chanting to help the team and chanting to make us look tinpot...
  6. be more than happy to loose most of them in general, absolute cringefest in the away end
  7. I listened to Webber this morning, he's realistic and level headed which I think a few people could learn from. He mentioned the chanting of certain songs, I was at Chelsea on Saturday and for the first time watching Norwich I was actually embarrassed to be a Norwich fan (shocking performance aside) with the chanting and behaviour of the fans. I sat in front of 3 of the biggest helmets on the planet who were chanting complete nonsensical rubbish for the entire game, embarrassing and cringeworthy. The mickey taking chanting I cant be a part of and I find it pathetic and tin pot (mainly from the younger fans I noticed) chants like we are going down, how **** much you be etc, there were a few more which I cant remember off the top of my head. By the end of the game I'd say more than half of the away fans were joining in, with the real Norwich fans looking on in embarrassment, which led to a few scuffles / disagreements in the away end. I don't get why we would want to chanting songs about our club that takes the p*ss out of us. Result was tough to take and a disgraceful performance, but I walked out of there thinking what a bunch of tinpot fans we have.... sad times.
  8. All the hype of late in the media with the change of agent etc. Is it just me or is he massively overrated? In the championship, yes he's superb and a huge attacking threat, but that's because he can beat anyone for pace in that league, his delivery is still dreadful. I watch him week in week out and I think he can do so much more, I cant remember the last time he beat the full back and got in a dangerous ball which created a chance, in the premier league he seems to shrink, cant beat anyone for pace and gets caught out. Another who is too good for the champ but not good enough for the prem, I mean if we get 30mil plus for him that will be the deal of the century personally. I've never really understood the hype.
  9. why are we so bothered? its hardly harsh and unjust, we are a laughing stock atm, we have to suck it up and take it on the chin
  10. I think our constant crying about all things talksport, MOTD etc etc sums us up as a club atm, weak, easy target and insecure. At the end of the day, we are bringing this on ourselves.
  11. I watched the full 90 mins, which was 90 minutes I will never get back. Dreadful game to watch. Seems to me we have totally lost our identity in terms of being brave on the ball, the of building fast attacks is non existent, why does everyone look so unsure. Sergeant yes he works hard, but my Jack Russell would also work hard if let loose. We need far more technique and poise in that position (someone like ermm Buendia), he reminds me so much of Cameron Jerome. Pukki looks lost and nowhere near sharp enough, 3 games they have played together and they still look no better in terms of the pairs cohesion. Normann apart who looks a real player, when are we actually going to see anyone we have brought in look like they are worth what we paid for them? I'm not counting Tzolis game against a Bmouth team would couldn't be arsed. How depressing it is that we have had to completely scrap / revise our entire philosophy which we have been building for 4 years, just to be able to get 1 point in 7 games. Meanwhile Brentford are putting every to shame, safe by xmas. Great being a Norwich fan eh
  12. The players. Their lack of determination, grit and passion in and out of possession is shocking. Farke has to take some of the blame of course, but the basic errors being made and general laziness is not his fault IMO
  13. Few points... Why didn't one of the senior players step in last night and take the ball of Tzolis ? Its inexcusable tbh, Hanely for example, or Idah show some character and tell him straight. Does Farke know his best team yet, I dont think so. Yet to be convinced by any of the attacking players we have brought in, Rashica has the hernandes bug which means he goes missing for 70 mins each game, the rest are raw unproven. Seems to be a distinct lack of cohesion, character and guts in this team at the moment, all of which is essential if you want to stay in this league, all these signings will take time to gel, but we needed to hit the ground running, I fear we have lost our identity and togetherness with the high turn over of players. The last thing I want is to see Farke go, love the bloke and what he has done and the identity he has instilled in this team (before this season). Generally slow starters so I'm hoping we can get a result at Everton, but if not I'd give him 3 more after that to get things right, that is if we have ambition to stay up.... Thoughts ?
  14. I wont be able to make the first home game as I will be in France, with all this Covid stuff going on, will I still be able to hand my ticket over to a family member and they use it like old times or not?
  15. as quick as Mbappe (hanley) according to the stats from the Euros mate.
  16. Weaker. We need to bring in two forwards, one back up one to start, cant imagine Hugill will be in the frame and the same for Idah, if they are, we are in huge trouble IMO. Loosing the link between Emi and Pukki is massive also (goals and assists) doubt we can bring in someone who has the vision that Buendia had. Loosing Skipp is huge also, my player of the season last year.
  17. I think we should be aiming higher than Pukki starting most games, remember we have lost the link between him and Buendia, he has had a large amount of niggles this season and has only been fit for half the season at best, the rest of the season aggravating injuries and playing through the Euros clearly with injuries. I fear we wont have a super sharp Pukki this season, hopefully I am wrong, but I think if we are going into the season with him as our No. 1 striker, we are done before we start.
  18. we are crying out for a striker IMO, that position should be a priority
  19. **coming from. Not a great deal of attacking threat in the team IMO
