1.

the reality is we were fortunate not to be dead and buried by 60 minutes.
What rubbish.
Again, thoroughly ironic.
 2.
Gawd there''s some tripe on here tonight. We''re three games in, the season has only just started and some of you are talking as if it''s already over. Get a grip!
How ironically short sighted. Look at Farke and Webber’s performances holistically ffs.
 3.
Farke isn''t the problem It''s our owners and their deluded view that we can compete as a self funded club As attendances dwindle revenue will dwindle and the quality drops Their lack of commercial nouse is dragging the club into terminal decline
Jim, Farke is part of the problem. Some of his team selections are indefensible.
 4. It was awful. But the terrible inevitability of it all prevents the enjoyment. I was so close to not going today, due to the predictability of it all. I talked myself around, I wish I hadn’t. Yes it was a last minute defeat, but the reality is we were fortunate not to be dead and buried by 60 minutes.
 5. Utterly depressing. New season, same problems. Our defence is pathetic, and Farke and Webber have failed to sort it. Ben Marshall is an attacking midfielder...and is wasted at right back. The lad was dynamite for Millwall I’m an advanced role last season, and a major reason for their end of season form. Klose simply isn’t cut out for the physical nature of this league yet still gets selected. Pinto is too attacking, and none of our so called defenders bar Hanley can actually execute the basics requirements of a defender. In midfield, we persist with Tettey. A player on the demise and one without Pre-season fitness. Louis Thompson played preseason and impressed. Why on earth is Farke not starting him? Up top we look better. But that’s not difficult, Oliveria was completely demotivated last season and even Ricky V W would have improved us this season . Having said that, it’s completely irrelevant when we can’t do the basics at the back. It’s another scatter gun approach to a transfer window from Webber, and Farke continues to show complete incompetence with regard to team selection and tactics. The only player coming out with any real credit is Hernandez, but let’s face it, he’ll be actively sold in January of this form continues. It’s a truely awful and depressing start to the season. Theres more than a fair chance we head to Ipswich winless, and then what if finally defeated? Like the club throughout, this team has a soft underbelly.
 6. We’ve gone so far backwards you couldn’t write it. Today proved how shocking we still are defensively, and simply cannot deal with a big powerful forward. Again, today shows how toothless we are and have been all season. Our prized £25 million pound asset has just suffered a serious knee injury and won’t be going anywhere for that sort of sum now. And to top it all off Ipswich finish ahead of us for the first time in 9 years. Roll on next season, but I have next to no hope things will change under the current set up. Most will be pleased to know that’s me done on here too. Au revoir!
 7. This time last year we were excited at the prospect of having Wes, Pritchard and Maddison. Pritchard was on fire, Maddison had started to shine and Wes was on the back of good season, proving age was having no detrimental effect. The discussions surrounding the trio also included how to play them. I even remember Paddy Davitt predicted that Wes and Pritchard would be the focal with Maddison as back up! Anyway, less than a year on we’re having to come to terms with having none of them. Sad times, and an indication as to where this club now is. Which is an average championship side with no competitive advantage over others.
 8. @KC Actually I think it’s much more simplistic to watch him on the ball and allow his good touch and excellent long range passing abillity to form a judgement that he’s a good player and should start. The results speak for themselves don’t they? Personally as a collective I think we’re weaker when Vrancic plays in a critical central role. He lacks any sort of fear factor, which seems to give the opposition confidence, and he can by easily bypassed by a strong athletic midfielder runnng from midfield, of which there are plenty in the championship. On the ball he looks great. But off the ball he’s ineffective. He’s too slow and dominant enough. He’s too easy to play against and that’s why I believe the results when he plays are as they are.
 9.
You should try going to games Lincoln. Vrancic has changed the early season perception of pretty much everyone around me now.
But I do go to games sweetheart? Granted only 6 times this season. What stood out though, is that of the 6 games I’ve been too.. we’ve won 3 and Vrancic wasnt invloved. A fourth game was drawn, no Vrancic, and guess what, 2 defeats and Vrancic played on those two occasions! Of course this could all be coincidence. But just a few weeks back I put up the stats of our results with and without Vrancic, and we lose much more often and win far less when Vrancic plays. That tells me that he’s effect on the team isn’t that postive. Despite the fact he looks a very tidy footballer on the ball.
 10.
Contrary to Lincolns posts, Vrancic was yet again our best midfielder against Preston and expect him to be a regular next season. Where he plays and who his partner is if its a midfield two will be interesting.
Your the only person who rates Vrancic week in week out. What does that tell you?
 11.

Cantwell is someway off yet, Thompson is currently injured with a long term injury that could still impact fitness wise into pre-season...
Using your logic, you would''ve written off Jamal Lewis at this time last year...
Yes Lappin, if you like. I guess by your logic, we should assume that all youngsters with potential are certain to have a positive impact on the first team. Therefore safe to count our chickens.
 12.
It doesn''t look too bad really, without signing anyone and assuming Tettey does actually leave; CAM: Maddison/Cantwell CM: Vrancic/Mclean/Stiepermann DM: Trybull/Godfrey/Thompson When you consider we could potentially sign Leitner and/or Reed permanently, and possibly keep Tettey, there''s quite a few options in there. As others have said, not the best squad in the world, but arguably has the potential to reach the play-offs.
AJ, that midfield does not fill me confidence at all! Cantwell is someway off yet, Thompson is currently injured with a long term injury that could still impact fitness wise into pre-season, Steipermann CM? Can’t see him being effective there and Maddison won’t be here. McLean has potential and on paper should be a good signing, but Vrancic is inconsistent and has big weaknesses at this level. Trybull and Godfrey in the CDM positions should be decent though. We need a replacement or two for Pritchard, Wes and Maddison.
 13.
It leaves you with a somewhat empty feeling knowing that you will not see him again in yellow and green just like the day Grant Holt left. Grant has yet to be replaced with another hero and i fear the same will happen with Wes.
My feelings too. To be honest, I still think he could do a job at this level. In the few appearances I’ve seen him this season he’s still capable and often improved us when coming off the bench. But the timing seems right to call it a day. Absolutely loved watching Wes. In particular during the lamberr years with players such as Holt, Surman, Fox, BJ and Howson who all seemed to be able to integrate with him perfectly. A real shame this couldn’t end on a high.
 14. Probabaly the most naturally gifted player I’ve seen play for Norwich. A few highlights for me; Goal against Ipswich at home (4-1) Goal against Leicester at home (4-2 I think) Goal against Rotherham at home (last season)
 15. Great fit IMO. Strangely, I’m quite excited to see where Maddison will go. I look forward to following his career and hope to be supporting him again in an England shirt. Absolute top player and professional.
 16.
"Truth is, most dislike my posts because there pretty accurate." But you seem to revel in pointing out negatives. The fact that you use a p!ayer who effectively left us almost five years ago as evidence of your positive posts shows that they almost never happen. You''re constantly slagging things off (and often being pulled up for being wrong or blinkered), but in your head, you seem to think you''re some crusader for the truth. Just shows how wrong you can be. IMHO, you''re a massive troll, and one of the few I would block on here if I could. I suspect "most" tend to this view, but happy to admit I''m wrong if there is now a flood of appreciation for your views. Not holding my breath...
Oh my, how high and mighty do you think you are! You clearly believe you’re a superior poster whose views are so well valued and appreciated by others. What an extremely arrogant post. Blocking people...I wouldn’t block anyone. A very (predictably) self righteous suggestion from you.
 17.
Excited to see him. A guy who scores and shoots! Make a refreshing change!
Maddison?
 18.
Why would people hate your posts because they''re accurate? If anything it''s the monumental lack of accuracy that people question.
Some people, like yourself, cannot accept criticism and refuse to listen to anything negative said about the club. ‘Monumental lack of accuracy’ judged by a person who lacks the abillity to reflect and consider different peoples views before making informed judgement. Righto love.
 19.

Srbeny doesn''t look to be a goalscorer. His one goal was a cracking pass which he almost missed by placing it right at the goalkeeper. I think he''s improved but we''re not a club to be messing about with one striker up front ''waiting for him to improve''. We''ve had 7 0-0 draws this season. Turgid is the perfect word to describe that. Boring.
What are you looking at? Before joining us he was at Paderborn, for whom he signed in July last year. Paderborn currently top 3. Liga in Germany. In his 15 games for them he scored 9 goals and contributed 8 assists, a record that compares more than favourably with e.g. Wigan''s Will Grigg (38, 17, 3). I guess Will Grigg "doesn''t look to be a goalscorer" either?
Come on, comparing league one with the German third division! Ridiculous. League two is more competitive and has more quality than most of Europe’s second and third divisions.
 20.
It''s the constant negativity that gets on people''s tits. If on occasion you said something praising the club,if you said something praising a player (that is actually playing) and then mixed it up with things the club has got wrong, then people might be prepared to listen. As it is, and as it has always been, your endless slating of the club has just got tiresome. If you hate our club so much, why are you here?
I do Herman. I’ve praised many of our players In the past, you and others just choose to forget and it suits the agenda. Hoolahan is probbaly the biggest example. A hugely talented player that I battled against many on here who thought he was ‘a one trick pony’ and should be sold. Ok an ex player, but again I battled with posters with regard to Surman too. Another quality player. Another Howson... point is I support and praise quality players! Admittedly this season I’ve not had much postive things to say. But come on, we’ve been dreadful and just overseen a downgrading in squad quality! There is precious little to be postive about after this season, or the last few to be quite honest! We’re on a downward trajectory reflected by every facet of the club at the moment. Truth is, most dislike my posts because there pretty accurate.
 21.
"You post ridiculously over the top negative drivel knowing it’s controversial. You don’t believe half of it, but enjoy the controversy."Oh Lincoln.
Not at all Herbert. I’m far closer to realism, and there’s plenty of posters on here that share my views.

Ipswich are the very opposite of us when it comes down to it. Deeply in the proverbial financially, no assets to speak of, either on the pitch or off it. The only similarity there is, is the league position and there the similarities end. We have a great stadium, great community side of the club, a great fanbase, a forward looking coaching set up and some very good players, a club with no debt other than a working overdraft, able to attract top class loan players as well as very talented youngsters. On the pitch we have an ethos that is setting out the way forwards - a systematic development over the next few years based on a tried and tested German philosophy from one of the best clubs in Europe. I can''t imagine any real Norwich supporter who thinks that as a club we are as poor as Ipswich. Where ever I''ve lived, worked and whatever has happened good or bad, the one constant in my life has been NCFC.
No I understand, I just don’t gey why your writing an essay justifying your support for Norwich when nobody asked? And in such a dramatic way too! Nearly brought a tear to my eye....
I see you have a short memory, perhaps the essay, or in reality a paragraph, was brought on by your accusation of me "constantly being on the wind up". You make accusations, you get a reply. Even you should be able to understand that.
I didn’t say you weren’t a City fan, or suggest your were an inferior one at that. Therefore your justification of how much of a fan you are is completely irrelevant and out of context. You’re on the wind up. You post ridiculously over the top positive drivel knowing it’s controversial. You don’t believe half of it, but enjoy the controversy. Doesn’t mean your not a City fan.
