1.
With all due respect,
Shame the rest of your words forgot you started the post with respect.
we are not in administration and the club are not a charity.
I never said we were.
What is it exactly that you want us to do for them?
Like I said if you have something and you are able to offer it up, offer it, else perhaps just be thankful that you have fellow fans who have some skills that could support your club.
Have you considered that people volunteering will only result in real life paid members of staff losing their jobs and not being able to pay their mortgages?
If you honestly think my intentions of this post is to do people out of a job then I am sorry. My point was to give and add something of value, pass this information or skills onto the club and give others new skills and abilities. If you carry this fear then I am sorry to hear that.
We have players of 5k a week plus, why not get rid of those players and start paying people 2.5k a week? sorted. Joe Bloggs the gardener will be able to feed his kids after getting home from mowing the lawns at colney, and the kit man will still have a job instead of everybodies grannys taking it in turns to wash kits for the players.
Again my point was around what you can ADD and not just replace 1 for 1.
I cant help but feel that you may be a little strange mate. Earlier you were talking about passing on your secrets for living to 130, despite having no relevant qualifications. Do you think you are going to get through to a sports scientist at Carrow Road without him laughing you off within 30 seconds?
This is where you cross my line. Having no qualifications does not mean you are not capable of knowing more than someone else on a particular subject. I would take an unqualified builder with a lot of experience over a qualified builder with little experience anyday. If you base all decisions on are you qualified, then you only ever compare with what you have learned from your teacher, and we are all well aware from our education that what we have been taught in our schooling was F all to do with what we really needed, that is the way the system is designed, tech you F all and get you into debt and a crap job you hate, live till you are 75ish and die. I decided to get more than one teacher, I decided to not do what everyone else is doing. I have travelled far to attend lectures and seminars on a subject that I am passionate about and that I am well informed about. Yes I will live to 130 and I only say 130 cause if I tell you that my real goal you will think I am a real nut job! The system is designed to make you believe that what is happening is exactly how it is. But as the xfiles used to say, the truth is out there. Try Wiki The oldest woman - Lived till 122 and ate chocolate every day. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeanne_Calment and Li Ching Yuen made it to 256 but you are not supposed to know this stuff cause you might ask a question like, hmm, if he can made 256 can I make 130? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Ching-Yuen That would F up the tax system and god forbid you might even question the Tax system, so these subjects are never talked about cause you might stop going to Burger King! So queue the abuse! However, that one day you find yourself ill and going to your doc and he gives you a shite load of pills as directed by the big pharmaceutical companies and you think, hmmm this is not quite right. If at that point I have found some suitable qualifications then I might be able to direct you to someone who can help.
2. Well i thought this would head down this road, quite a few made me laugh. I just wanted to make a point that if you have something to offer, then just go for it, you might be able to help and offer your support in different ways while you are not in the stands. Dan
3. Let''s face it, the club is going to have to pull the strings this season, so what skills or services can you offer to the club for free. Perhaps in return you will be able to say you work in association with NCFC? So what you you fine fellows and fellowesses have to offer? I only post this as my recent post on health and performance has just lead to a talk with a member of staff at the football ground. So interesting stuff. I look forward to the jokes, but this is a serious post.
4. I have been contacted with an email address, so thank you for the PM. As for my qualifications. I have none. As for fear of being blown out of the water, you can keep your fear. I live with no fear. I have my own quest to live well beyond 130 years old with a clear and wholesome mind and a body of a 30 year old. I then will repeat Beauseants activities well into my 100''s !! My growing knowledge and technology does not come with a qualification, more a passion and desire to question what is really going on inside our bodies.
5. I am working on a programme for my own health and longevity. I want to share some of this information with the backroom staff to help our players recover from injuries much much faster. If anyone does know how to get a contact at the club, please PM me. Thanks Dan
6. I rarely post on here, i''m more of a reader than poster on here, but I wanted to share my idea about formations and the squad. The basis of this is 352 which can be flexible to so many other formations. So to the point. focussing your defence on centre backs allows you to have 5 or 6 centre backs in your squad to fill you constant 3 defensive positions. With injuries you can fill in with much ease. Your midfield can then play narrow with 1 defensive mid 3 in the middle and 1 behind, or wide with 3 in the middle controlling play and the other 2 pushing on and taking the opposition defence to deal with tactility, making them make changes to deal with your formation. Then you have the flexibility of moving your forward to drop deep or pushing right up. I see the biggest benefit of this is the defence. Having 5 or 6 players that play CB that is the defence. With a standard 442 you have at least 4 CB 2LB and 2RB giving you 8 players. What do you think......
7. Forget my last post! Trying again... ************** But the fans can''t afford to buy the owners out - so it isn''t even an option right now! When ideas such as these are mooted, it''s invariably forgotten that as well as expecting 25000 fans to contribute money towards something which isn''t tangible, and only an idea, then you need more money for signings, and somehow have to keep finding it year on year. Ebbsfleet seemed like a fantastic idea - yet just one year down the line, and with the FA Trophy in the bank, the vast majority of those who signed up are bored and have lost interest, meaning MyFootballClub will probably have to find a buyer or risk the club folding. Barcelona and the Green Bay Packers are glorious exceptions, built up over many decades: Barca - "more than a club" - especially. But British football being what it is, it''s wholly unfeasible here I''m afraid. ******* So lets take the £ out of the equation, how would you like to see this work? ******* Above are quotes from my post and Jimmy Smith. Please, please, please could we possibly follow a conversation on these boards. So my request again, lets take £ out of the equation (because all of us already know the arguments for and against and a media made credit crunch) so lets take the £ issues away, and decide what you would want from your football club? These are mine. I want youth at the heart of the club, I want to see rough diamonds burst into light on the Carrow Road pitch. I want to hear crowds of 25k, so that means being able to hear the river end. I want to be the first team to allow away and home fans to sit together. (I love my international experience sitting amongst Portugal fans in the euros a few years back, it was how all football fans should share a match.) I want to see a youth team manager be promoted along site the youth team he coaches. I want to see NCFC climb back into the Prem division in the next 6 years, playing the most beautiful fast passing game. I want for a NCFC player to pull on an England Shirt while wearing his NCFC shirt underneath. I want to see us get to a Cup Final at Wembley and pass the other team of the pitch. I want the fans to own the club, I want this the most.

9. I would say that raising £500 from over 20k people per year for ownership of a football club is not as hard as it immediately comes across. So lets take the £ out of the equation, how would you like to see this work? Do we have a way we have to see the game played on the pitch? Do we have to have a hotel in the corner of the ground? Do we want 1st Wiz to hex the away team dressing room? Seriously, what would you love to see? I would vote for by 2013 more than 50% of the strongest 1st team 11 are products of the academy. My point is with these idea, we may have a reason to progress this concept.
10. I know it''s not cool to bump your own threads, even less cool, when you posted it over 3 years ago! But I think it is worth a go given the current plight! Without having access to the clubs accounts but knowing we have a turnover of £20m and making a loss on that plus even less turnover next year. This must be the time the fans step up and say let us own this club. We can model Barcelona, but what it needs is fans to step up and say, Yes we can do this. Will you say Yes?
11. it dropped out, but it''s back if you go back to the bbc radio norfolk web site, i''m getting it ok in London.
12. I was hoping on that ! So my money is on a home win today. I fancy Martin to put in a propper performance, if he does not he will be on his way under this management.
13. can i listen to the game on the bbc radio norfolk online?
14. I think Jewel is the best option. However I will not complain about Gross.   From Wiki... After being fired from the Tottenham job, Gross returned to his native Switzerland, finding work as the coach of FC Basel. Although the British tabloids retained an image of Gross as a largely incompetent figure, he didn''t care and worked steadily to rebuild Basel into the premier force in Swiss football and has now outstripped his previous success at Grasshoppers.[citation needed] Under Gross''s guidance, Basel have now won three Swiss championships, two Swiss Cups, and mounted a fairytale run in the UEFA Champions League in 2002, beating eventual finalists Juventus as well as knocking out Celtic and drawing with Liverpool (twice) and Manchester United. Gross''s success in these games against British sides went a long way towards restoring his reputation among the British media and fans
15. As so many want a new board so bad, please read these articles in the post above and pass your comments. This is possible :)
16. Perhaps its a Northern way of asking the away fans to build your own stand!
17. Following the Doc''s comments today, does anyone care to add any further comments to this post from the weekend. I really do want an answer to my questions.
18. Bruce''s Header wrote the following post at 17/01/2007 1:33 PM: I think Doc has a valid point. Blooding a youth in a failing side, with a poisonous atmosphere could definitely stunt his development as a professional footballer! Eadie''s debut was against Bayern when the ''feel good factor'' was at a high & he''ll probably feel that helped his development more than if it was his debut today. Bruce would you be kind enough to read my post from the weekend and comment. You might be the only person who can help me with a quest for an answer.   http://new.pinkun.com/cs/forums/848215/ShowPost.aspx
19. Come on someone please I need to hear an answer to my questions... Someone must be able to come up with at least one....
20. So 200+ reads of this post and no-one so far can answer the question. When should we blood the kids? When in the last 5 years should we have blodded them? If the fact is they are not good enough. Then can you help explain the following? Why are the employeed by the football club? Why do we employ the staff who train these kids? Sack the lot and start a fresh or off shore it to India!
21. I need someone to give me valid reasons for not playing the kids? I hear in the stand around me, "It''s not right to blood the kids in this atmosphere" "We need experience on the pitch" "The kids are not ready to step up to this level" I can''t buy this at all, so I want to hear from posters who can make this argument stick. I would love to see 3 or 4 players from our youth set-up in the 1st 11. I would not care if we lost cause I would be able to see progression of player. Walking away from a game thinking, wow give him another 10 games and we could really have a rough diamond here! We are currently attempting to polish turds and we all know that''s not possible. If it''s not the right time to blood these kids and you feel you can explain why, then great, please convince me. Can you please add to your post when the right time is and in addition I would like you to tell me over the last 5 years of NCFC history when was the right time to blood the kids and did we do it? Play the kids and I will renew my season ticket: Keep attempting to polish a turd, I will find a new team to watch on a Saturday. Where do Norwich United play?
22. I have held this back for too long now.... Can we please stop the following reply to posts that speculate on transfers etc. The reply being " Whats your source? " This drives me crazy, why is this important to know? If they choose to declare a source of the rumour / information then fine, if not then leave it alone and do some surfing and find some more info about transfer rumour and have a god dam opinion about the subject, not just "Whats your source?" because it adds no value what so ever. Let''s create some more debate and decent conversation. Anyway in any case given such details you will only challenge it when they say it was from Carl Cort in Asda. Please feel free to add your one liner that should be banned...
23. I was told back about a year ago that the football club do not pay any of Hucks wages. They are paid by previous clubs Leeds etc and a rather rich guy who wanted Hucks at the club at the time and has been paying his weekly wage of £5k plus. I know I am going to get the questions who are your sources etc, so reveal I shall.. this came from my best mates dad who knows an ex-director of the football club. That''s more than you normally get. So the stalling may well be over.. oh sh!t where are we going to find £20k plus a month to pay him...  IMO i would have sold him and taken the cash during the past 2 seasons.....anyway forget that.. That''s why I think we are seeing the delays... they are working out how many more hotels we need to build to pay Hucks!
24. Thanks.. should have known that to be honest... I have been told by someone that Delia has paid £1.25 million for her shares and that''s it... Not a penny more, i''m interested to find out if this is true.. I shall get the details and see what i can find..thanks again
25. I need some new bedtime reading and would like to get an understanding of how much Delia has invested and how much we are mortgaged up to the hilt. Can anyone help? Also would anyone care to estimate how many millions Delia has pumped into our club? What would be acceptable amount? What would be unacceptable for the position she holds?
