1.
I know the league, it''s the Championship, does that mean I should get the job [:P]
No
 2. I know not many people like him, but personally I think he is the best man for the job. He knows the league inside out and since leaving QPR he has worked for Sky doing reports on games, so he still knows how most of the teams play etc. I am also a fan of the teams he builds, every team he has taken charge of has big strong athletic players, something that GR said he wanted but ulimately failed to deliver. He has great experience in the Championship and I think he would come if approached. My only concern is that he can be a bit of a tube (as Alan Brazil would say). In our position I think we need someone who knows the league.
 3. I like to ask these types of fan how many times they have seen their team play this year, if they say none then say how many times have you actually been to Old Trafford? If the response is less than ten or so just say well you aren''t really a fan, more a follower. Haha.
 4.
To be fair to you. Even though you could have guessed it I said if their was an announcement made I would apologise. Their is and so I''m sorry for doubting both of you. Eagle and Tipster.
Cheers pal.
 5.
NO THAT IS NOT CORRECT - GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT AND READ WHAT HE SAID. He said last night there was an emergency board meeting.  Fair enough. Today he comes on and uses the fact that Roeder has gone as proof of his claim. How can you use Roeder''s sacking as proof that there was a board meeting - did they need a board meeting to make that decision?  If there was a board meeting perhaps it was about something unrelated - we simply dont know. He has jumped to a conclusion and used it as "evidence" of his claims. It is also the "I told you so" attitude in capitals that has wound me up - and then he accuses ME of trolling when he has come on here to say "I told you so" in big capitals in his own thread!
You know… this sort of stuff is all that is wrong with this bloody message board in particular… People don''t take their time to read what people have actually said. The lad (or lass as I don''t know his sex) just said that he knew there was an emergency board meeting last night. Now have the good grace to just tip your hat to his post/inside info and put an end to this bloody infighting that is always going on here. Now, get together, behind the team and put your energy into singing yourself hoarse on Saturday!

Are you being serious? This morning someone said normally a board meeting is followed by sacking or backing the manager, we simply said there was a board meeting, not what was said. And yes I did come on purely to say I told you so, cos like many people say there is loads of rubbish posted on this board, so the fact that I don''t just post rubbish is something that I feel should be acknowledged.
 6.

Anyway I''m off to bed, will check back tomorrow. Night all.
If i knew their was aboard meeting I''d be up waiting for its result. Not waiting for the morning ... [;)]
Ok I had to reply to this. I have been told by someone I trust and probably would not have shared this info until I read the original post. Me waiting up won''t change anything thats said or done, and we could be up all night. I have work early in the morning and a spinning class tomorrow night so would rather get some sleep.
 7. Anyway I''m off to bed, will check back tomorrow. Night all.

 10.

for real.
I also just heard this, its true.
yes, we all just heard it - here, just now, from Tipster''s post.  We can but hope that it has some truth in it.
I heard it from somewhere else, but as I have a low post count I knew the insults I would get from the majority of people who seem to spend half their lives on here.

 13. Sheff utd have a bit of money to play with now, to sell Beatie for £3m and get Lita for £1m is good business in my book.
 14.
Does anyone know roughly how many tickets we have sold for the charlton match? I have to say i cant see us getting anymore than 1500 in especaly with the ridiculous £15 that they are charging for tickets. Also they were advertising on radio broadland(or whatever its called now) the other day so im guessing by that, that they havvnt sold many tickets as they dont normally advertise like that
I assume you meant 15,000? I reckon will be between 16,000 and 17,000, will be very cold too!
 15. I''m not arguing, I''m simply passing on something I have heard. Don''t shoot the messenger pal.
 16.
"and they are friends on facebook." Well it must be true then if theyre facebook friends
Well its a pretty easy way to keep in contact with friends, if you have any?
 17. Not sure if I should start this cos I know what majority of people on here will say BUT a female friend of mine is a friend of Cheds (from his time here) and they are friends on facebook. She said they spoke yesterday and he mentioned that he could be coming back. She said he said he didnt know when (if at all) it will happen, but it goes to show that they are in some sort of talks. I guess a lot will depend on if Man City want to loan him out again and any other offers they get. One sunday newspaper said Celtic were interested in a loan-to-buy deal and Ched would score goals for fun in the Scottish league.
 18. At least the groundsman will have a few less divots to worry about from his arse every time he cacks over.
 19. http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/content/Sport/story.aspx?brand=ENOnline&category=Sport&tBrand=ENOnline&tCategory=Sport&itemid=NOED12%20Jan%202009%2011%3A24%3A50%3A493 Looks like he has played his last game, hopefully we can send him back a couple of weeks early and save ourself some money. Also an interesting comment where GR says that there are no youngsters ready for the first team yet.
 20. Where did you hear that? I would have guessed about 16,000-17,000 attendance.
 21.
serje.mcdonald off the baggies isnt bad punt for a risky free transfer never given a real chance in the baggies team but scored something like 10 in 6 for hereford last season
He has gone on loan to a Belgian team, so no chance of that.
 22.
The player with the ball appears to have no idea what to do other than hump the ball
This made me smile, haha.
 23.
He''s just had his contract cancelled by West Brom, so he''d be free. Might not cost alot in wages. Had good loan spells at Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday, and those 2 teams are above us now. He''s a big old b*stard too.
Think he could definitely do a job for us. There must be a few other teams looking at him though, so the club best act fast.
 24. Elliot Omozusi and Kris Renton were in Mercy on Saturday night.
 25. This does seem quite cheap. I think that Beattie and Etherington will be good signings for Stoke. They are building a team that is good enough (with a bit of luck) to stay up, but if not then they will be top Championship players if they do come down.
