That Referee was a complete ....!!!!
Sacharelle replied to Syteanric's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The so called officals were a disgrace tonight. We were robbed of what looked a perfect goal, which could have won the game for us. The decisions were bad enough but the cheating Derby players made me sick. Why was their keeper not booked or even sent off for his disgraceful time wasting. The ref just lost it - you might as well give all teams the green light to resort to these tactics once they are ahead with 10 minutes to go. They must have wasted 2 minutes when the 90 minutes was up and it was never added on. On their second goal - 4 or 5 of their players all go into the crowd to celebrate, but only one is shown a yellow card - what is the point of that - surely all of them should be cautioned or none at all? -
Hucks is sheer CLASS and well worth my ticket money on his own. I couldn''t believe we got him in the first place and I bet most Championship clubs would sign him tomorrow if they had the chance. A legend for sure...

The Hux penalty appeal

Yeah, definitely a pen for me... I was level with him at front of Jarrold stand, and I had no doubt at the time. -
STELLA CANARIES ON SOCCER AM
See if you can guess who''s holding the flag behind the Orange Sofa''s (pic 4)
Gotta be Flecky or his "double" - what was going on there then? -
Blackpool was a good day out - we arrived by coach at 12.45 and had plenty of time to see the "sights" ... Tower, beach, donkeys etc. Bit surprised by the policing though for a match of just 9000+. Mounted police and helicopter seemed a bit over the top but maybe they are not used to such big games! We sat at far end of the crappy temporary stand in block Z nearest to the home fans. There were at least 20 police including "evidence gatherers" in that corner most of the match and they seemed well interested in the Blackpool hardcore, so maybe they were expecting trouble? or perhaps it was just a big police training exercise! We just couldn''t compete with the home fans for volume esp. with their drummer leading the chants, but it was always going to be hard work with no roof! We did our best though and scoring in the dying seconds of first half was the obvious high point of the day. I thought we played ok considering the team we put out - Hucks and Saf did well and so did Chris Brown til the red card. Marshall looked solid and pulled out a couple of top drawer saves to keep us in the tie.

Adams/Waller comments During Millwall Match
Sacharelle replied to YankeeCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I''m sick of hearing posters who think its "fashionable" to slag off Roy Waller. It''s fair comment that Chris Goreham is a good up-and-coming presenter, but imo its Roy''s inaccuracies and unique banter with Neil Adams that makes him such a special character. He''s our equivalent of F1''s Murray Walker and can turn a boring game into entertainment. He''s just had to bravely deal with serious illness in the public eye. Give the guy a break... -
The guy was pure class... played easily within himself and must be kept if possible.

Took the words right out of my mouth!! Thank God for a decent local reporter... at least Rick Waghorn shows some credibility and tells the true story. I have never seen 3 out of 10 awarded before anywhere - imo Francis was lucky to get that. Together with Bentley they were a disgrace, surely never to wear the Shirt again.
