This is probably a wind up, anyway if you click on the U17 games he is mentioned. Exactly mate, someone on a wind up who used google.....I could even do that...... -
Tribunal Decision Made
Arthur Whittle replied to Pompey_88's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
decision has been made and they want it to be made public but we don''t Never understood this. Several clubs, use the old "undisclosed" fee.....why???...Seriously, what harm would it do???.....I actually think that people have the right to know how much their club has paid or recieved........I remeber the Dave Striker thing....people at the club were hinting the deal was around £750,000....then after he left the rumour was we got him for peanuts on a short term contract.......why withold information from fans....... -
comparing Gunns ideas of a good player and Lamberts is like comparing Cheryl Cole to a fat bird from Ipswich LOL.

Everyones a critic?
Arthur Whittle replied to RichT - The Biscuit's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
how many games would you give Crofts before you formed a definitive assessment Obviously, I would give him time to fit in, also lookinh at how often lambert uses him, as lambert will be the one watching him in training. Someone said they remember people moaning about us signing Grant Holt - I honestly cant, everyone seemed chuffed with it, his form at Forest in League One was good, and he had just score 30+ goals in League Two. -

Yes, but on the other hand, look at the excitement caused by our signing Julien Brellier Jason Jarrett Carl Robinson Peter Thorne David Strihavka Works both ways, hey. People were drooling over the signing of Dave Striker.....and Brellier...a lot of you were trying to get Hearts banner "Le Judge" to carrow road. I agree with the original poster. I havent commented on him- why??? Because ive never seen him play or he hasnt stood out when I have. Im going to moan about him but im nt going to trot the now trdaitional "I trust Lambert" line either.......we wont know till next seaon.....recall 1 certain poster saying Theokiltos was the best keeper to sign for Norwich for years. Ive no commment...im sitting on the fence on this....aslong as Nutty Nigel will budge up LOL. -
worry that he thinks League One players will magically be able to step up. For instance, Lappin is NOT a Championship footballer. I do hope this is not the case and he realises the title winning squad will are not good enough for cham, pionship football....some will step up and take to it, others wont....he needs to weed those players out, not a question of loyalty, its about whats best for our club.

Ok, look im just going to say this so dont bite my head off................Lambert has never managed above League One....having said that im sure he took in a few championship games and had a few scouts watching so knows what that league is all about. Now, we had a team for League One, that done its job......you cant show players loyalty, they dont anymore, Lambert has to trnasfer a League One side to a chmpionship competetive side........Now lets be realistic, how many of that squad from 2009/10 could honestly do a job in the chamionship........Lambert knows this, Crofts may be just a back up/squad player, he could also be a 1st choice....I think Lamberts a bright enough guy to know that most of that team from last year wont get away with stuff from last season in the chamionship................I expect a hell of a lot of ins and outs.........started shipping them, out and hes shipping them in.............just wish we knew more about them.....butttttt.....Mourinho signed several players at Chelsea, nobody had heard of...thats because Mourinho builds teams...he doesnt build star teams......I see this in Lambert....not big names with egos but solid player who can do a job short or long term...........DISCLAIMER...I am not saying Paul Lambert is as good as Jose Mourinho!!!!!!!!!!!

Those on here who say "yeah, I know of such and such a player" have probably only come across them on Championship Manager. I will own up to not knowing half the players we bring in as I can only afford a copy of Sensible Soccer ''98 and that''s a bit out of date. LOL...I take it thats one of the football manager games people always compare players we have signed to....lol.
-
No, but I''d never heard of Ched Evans before we loaned him. Good one. I agree, theres so many players, like another poster said Frazer Forster, who we dont know about....I just want to know more about him, style of play etc,. On the subject of Ched Evans Chops......ive heard a rumour Sheff Utd want rid.......didnt hear too much about him there last season....was he injured or didnt suit their style of play??? Its intresting when you sign a more or less unknown.....some are massive hits....any Brighton fans been on here???...or anyone know any Brighton or Gillingham fans???..........all I know about him is he was Gillingham captain, then returned from international duty late and was booted out.......
-
Actually, I will own up now....the reason I couldnt remember any Brighton player standing out, was because I was getting confused....I missed 2 home games {2 and half if you count leaving at HT Col U} one of which was Brighton, and the next home game I went to was Oldham.......so I apologise now for knowing sod all about this guy due to missing that match. Dont let me stop you lot from having your say though........
-
Look, im not being negative....just a simple question....had anyone heard of Crofts before we signed him??? I will own up and admit I dont know anything about him.....on that basis Im not going to rave about him or put a downer on him as till next season I cant judge. Now I aslo admit I hadnt really heard of Sammy Clingan, and he was superb IMO.....but also I kne2 little of Matt Gill....and he was...well....you know the story.. I come in peace, not an argument, I genuinely dont know anything about him. You can all come on and roll out the now traditional line of "I trust Lambert".....but does anyone actually know anything about him......I cant recall any Brighton player making an impression on me this season.... Honest answers people........have you heard of him....and if so...what do you know.....unbiase opions please.....Im seriously keen to learn about this guy.....
-
this season he has taken col u from potential for auto promotion to well out of playofs he didnt take them from anywhere....he took over after 4 games into the season.....so bit of an exaggeration mate.
