1.
Delia Smith and MWJ... [;)]
Fact is the club didn''t sign them, they helped us out of the Sh.. when we needed it, they have made mistakes in the past with managers but we have a better manager now. If Mr Cullum wanted to buy the club and spend obscene amounts of cash he would have done it. Reality is, it aint going to happen and if Delia left we could find ourselves far worse off. The grass isn''t always greener.
 2. Steve Walsh what a waste of space (and we''re talking a lot of space) has to be the worst signing he made Hartson look mobile!!
 3.
out im afraid... the board have made some horrible gaffes over the years and the Smiths seem unable to bankroll us to the level we need to be at... we need someone new to take the club forward and invest heavily in the playing side and youth setup over the next 5-6 years... jas :)
One of the most debated topics on here was about should we expect others to pay for our toys possibly by "yankee canary" (correct me if i''m wrong) but most of you know what i mean.... Would you or any of you go to a pub and expect people that you don''t know buy drinks for you all night? So why do statements such as this keep recurring?
 4. 22 members thats not enough to make up a squad. Talk about going team handed.
 5.
I guess it''s obvious what I think, but I do have to say some of the stuff that gets directed Delia and Michael''s way is pathetic. I don''t see why people need to throw loads of personal abuse their way. While I think they can''t take the club any further and we are constantly going backwards, and they seem to be PR disasters a lot of the time, I do think they''ve done everything they have with their hearts in the right place but I think they''ve often got their priorities wrong and possibly been a bit naive at times too. I just hope that if anything is going to happen where investment is concerned it happens quickly as ultimately the club and the supporters suffer more than anyone. We''re all incredibly frustrated and I don''t think there is any fan who doesn''t want money put into the club, but I hope Delia and Michael are allowed a dignified exit (if indeed they do quit completely) and I think we should remember what good things they have done for the club, even if it all seems in the distant past now.
I''m sure that the directors are as willing as the fans when it comes to donations... Would you invest to make it better? how many of you on this pink un board would?
 6. Cheers Barclay boy, As I have said to everyone that there is no effort or cost involved for supporters to help this, If people can donate then that is great but if not at least their support for the site allows us to market it. Jas you post a lot on here and you could have helped us by promoting it to people who only occasionally come on this forum, this would have a far greater effect than the Delia out picture you promote. We know that there is discontent amongst supporters for the board but that''s not a reason to dismiss something that will benefit the team in the future. To underestimate the power of the supporter is naive. When it comes to business the company you work for have to promote themselves to either other businesses or people like you and me, in fact everyone on this board could be a potential customer if they need a product or service. Business will promote where it is cost effective which is what is being worked on now. The more traffic we receive the more financially viable it becomes. There will be two streams of traffic, Norwich city supporters and Internet product surfers. I have an an incredible record of Search engine optimisation (SEO) that is my job, (Generating traffic from the web) I believe £ for £  i can compete with anyone in the country for what i do & I have the results to prove it. This is why I know I can make the Kitty amongst the most powerful websites in this region. Jas i have listened to your negativity about the Kitty you opinion etc but with all due respect I am far more Qualified at what I am doing than you are. The best is yet to come with this site, the foundations are laid and the city supporters now have something that can shape the future of the club. The club will recognise this and eventually go in the right direction and add serious Internet Revenue to its coffers (they are doing it all wrong which effects us and the team). Eventually giving more power to the supporters through having a larger financial voice, Lets show the club what the supporters can do together when we put our minds to it, lets get the bosses envolved, lets get promoting and telling everyone about the Kitty.

Where theres a crowd there is a silver lining thats a fact, so for those who have helped with these figures I thankyou for your support. We will continue with our aim but this guys is a very good start.   Regards Steve
 8. I will try to explain: I already have a website that generates between 10,000 & 15,000  unique users per week, the site has first page positions on many various keywords, it has nothing to do with football but i have learnt how to make websites perform. The reason for the Directory is that it covers many professions from accountants to sub-contractors. When this is fully optimised and i have done the Search engine optimisation (SEO) to it (12 months), it will gain position and thus drive its own traffic by topic, on top of the traffic generated through football. Where the supporters come in is that there are ways for them to power the website to generate these strong positions. With this companies will be eager to be on these pages that perform well. If you look closely at the Directory is has county''s listed, these will be extended later, SEO links are valuable and companies all across the country will pay to have them. By the time it is finished it will be a product that has as much commercial value as the yellow pages . This is where the true value of the Kitty will come from.
 9.
Anyone can see what you and your colleague have claimed, and everyone can see the basis on which those claims were made, so I really don''t need to say any more. I am not your friend.
Reg presley, why are you "all shook up"?  Your not you binner are you?  there''s been one or two on here today.
 10.
"Please read this: Articles of association this should clear up any confusion." I''m not confused at all. http://www.pinkun.com/cs/forums/3/1160012/ShowPost.aspx#1160012 http://www.wrathofthebarclay.co.uk/interactive/board/message.php?pid=761355
Thats a quote from when we were seeking status to what could be done. Since then this has been done with accountants and solicitors. There is no need to refer back to this post. That was very early days my friend.
 11. Thanks guys, I didn''t follow Chelsea on Sunday did the ticket come in? Well done if it did. Lets hope your luck is in the this week. Regards Steve
 12.
"A charitable trust does not necessarily mean something is a charity, it can be a way of avoiding taxation." If you''re anything like me you''ll be interested as to the motivation behind claims like this which seem to suggest that giving money to the club via this scheme will, because of charity status, be more tax efficient than, for instance, FONCY. For the avoidance of any doubt here''s what HMRC have to say: "To be regarded as charitable, all the purposes of a trust must be within the legal meaning of charitable promote public benefit. There is a summary of charitable purposes at RE2100. " http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/tsemmanual/tsem6273.htm and "Charities established in the United Kingdom can claim exemption from tax on most forms of income and capital gains provided the income and gains are applied for charitable purposes only. Charities established outside the United Kingdom are not exempt from tax as charities. But, charities established in the Republic of Ireland will usually qualify for double taxation relief (DT9888). For tax purposes a charity is any trust or body of persons established for ’charitable purposes only''. The words ’charitable purposes'' are given a much wider meaning than, for example, the relief of poverty. A charity may be for one or more of the following purposes: the relief of poverty the advancement of education the advancement of religion certain purposes beneficial to the community" http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/remanual/RE2100.htm A fuller list of charitable purposes, with explanations, is provided by the Charity Commission at http://www.charitycommission.gov.uk/spr/corcom1.asp So, as I say, anyone can see for themselves with just a couple of minutes'' investigation that this scheme cannot be a charity or a charitable trust despite what has been claimed, and still not taken back by its proponents.
Please read this: Articles of association this should clear up any confusion.
 13.

Whilst all efforts by fans to help the club are to be applauded, I think it''s a shame all the different Supporters Clubs haven''t got together in order to work towards a common goal, be it raising money for transfers or getting a fan on the board.
I agree and suggested this a while back. I think the NCISA people had arranged to meet Mr Walpole months ago but understand that meeting had to be cancelled and I''m not sure if another meeting ever took place. Also would have thought the Trust might have got involved, just think if thoese 3 organisations had got together then the whole project would have had more power behind it. I do however applaud any efforts to improve and help the club we love.
Hi City angel, we finally got there and will report the outcome tomorrow, i will show the fans just how much credibility they have and what can be done with it..Today has been very much a success. I''m all for a meeting, I know that I have been engrossed and haven''t been able to get together with Mr Tilson, but i''m sure we can meet up soon, along with others but believe me when i say there has been an incredible amount of work that has been done to get the Kitty to this stage. We now will move onto phase 2. I will discuss this with the committee tomorrow and see if we can arrange a meeting.
Whilst all efforts by fans to help the club are to be applauded, I think it''s a shame all the different Supporters Clubs haven''t got together in order to work towards a common goal, be it raising money for transfers or getting a fan on the board.
Andy, we welcome talks to all Supporters Clubs, our details are available on the website and we are friendly.
 15. Jas;  I did try to explain that it is not just about donations. Thanks for your best wishes though.
 16. Lucky, the way i look at it is the fund will be here long term as for majority shareholders they do change, usually by fans pressure. But the fact is the club is what is close to every fans heart and that clubs in general are not embracing the financial rewards the Internet offers is a mistake, ever week the kitty is established gives us a head start over other cubs and this will be very hard  for them to catch up, IE google ranking. Support will help the ranking as it will be easier to achieve with assistance from supporters which is why i have always asked for support over donations. Did you also know that what i have put in place could achieve the same success as scoot or touch local? These are major companies who''s profits each year would seriously help the club to compete. I have refrained from getting technical on here but there is a lot of doors that have now been opened to generate revenue.
 17.
sorry - but the whole premise smacks of a load of ole bollards!!! i''m all for extra investment, but it seems the club are giving this venture a wide berth - and for me, it lacks credibility - after all, why should city fans selflessly give of their monies to support the club - it seems the NCFC board don''t???  why don''t the board comeout and say they are at least prepared to match or double any funds rasied by fans???  no, the NCFC board will be the main beneficiaries imo - just as they were when fans subscribed to the new share issue - helping NCFC to gain promotion, and the club to asset build with the prem money that rolled in... so, that when a certain billionaire comes along, the board wants £50m+ to be bought out lock, stock and barrel.,/ its a nice idea, in an ideal world - but imo the city board have shown they''re business people first, and fans second - i doubt if many fans will be taken with this proposal?<>
Sounds like your greivience is with the club the not with the Kitty. Afterall what has the kitty done wrong?
 18. jas, i would love to get you on board, if you met me and the other people who have got involved, you would know that our intentions are totally honourable and that we want the same as you as we are fans, funds are 100% safe, the committee has made sure of this, if the the unlikely end of the fund ever did happen the funds will be donated to the youth accadamy, period. This is all stated in the constitution page of the kitty. Will it work? It already is, we have taken the first few steps and every week we are moving forward. As we go on it will get better and better. Is it worth while? I think so, If we have the support there is no doubt in my mind the site will be recieving massive volumes of traffic, more and more advertisers will come along with new ideas to make money which is added to donations. Check out this rather than me writing it again.  Kitty Forum thread.
 19. MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION   1.         The Company''s name is "Norwich City Kitty Limited".   2.         The Company''s registered office is to be situated in England. 3.         The Company''s objects are to carry on business as a general commercial company and in particular to generate revenue on a non-profit basis through any means available to assist Norwich City Football Club Plc (“the Football Club”) with player acquisitions and the doing of any such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of that object.   etc.etc
 20. Check out the constitution page and this explains the Kitty''s status.
 21. City Angel, I hope you are keeping well,  I have to be a Radio Norfolk at 4.30pm. Jas, i wish you would understand that the club are NOT utter rogues, they understand that the funds generated and donated have been done so with a purpose, this cannot be changed, ever since the first donation was made we were obligated to make sure as an organisation to make the funds available for it''s purpose (Transfers) this is no different to another organisation that state clearly that city shares will be purchased to gain a seat on the board. Fans want to see more investment into the team its all over this message board, we can either sit on our hands or we can do something. What facility do we have up until now for fans to direct money at the team? The fund has been made watertight just read the constitution page. We have a range of products that will help local businesses that help them to generate new orders within & outside the region. (if you have a business contact us to find out more). This club has great facilities and great support what it is clearly lacking is finance, we need to stop pointing fingers and start helping the club, there no better place than to start than at the team itself.  Regards Steve.
 22. I will make this perfectly clear, Funds are only to be used for transfer fees, to help the club compete for players, the purpose of this initiative is solely to help improve the squad. It''s aim is to help the club bring in targets identified by the manager. The funds belong to the fans and they ultimately are donating for a purpose, it is the Kitty''s responsibility to adhere to the supporters wishes.. Lets keep concentrating on making the Kitty website a success, the visit numbers are rising daily, donations are rising, business plans are in place. Everything is going in the right direction, It will take time to fully mature but when it does i''m sure any doubters will come around. To hear more ,we are conducting and interview on radio Norfolk this afternoon.
 23. Well the lad sure shut us up today, could he turn out to be the bargain of the season?
