Hi City Angel, sorry for not getting back to you sooner but Ive been very busy, as per earlier in this thread, until i meet with the treasurer at our next committee meeting i do not have the information on funds. The meeting is imminent but we have been busy with other matters concerning the Kitty which need to be completed so that the meeting can be conducted with all aspects dealt with. As soon as the meeting has been conducted i will update the website for everyone. I cannot elaborate to much but meetings will be called for supporters and local business very shortly afterwards. All will become clear soon, plus we want everything in place before our AGM in August.

Thanks Ryan, If it is a solution to using affiliates effectively this will save me a lot of work. I appreciate your help, please send any links to steve.jacobs@website-serve.com Regards Steve

Hi Ryan, If the supporters pull together this will work, I have been working this winter on other projects which will benefit the kitty also and have yet to show my full hand until the right time. I trust if we make announcements on here you will see them or you can keep in contact though my email address provided on my website.

Hi Ryan you must have been typing at the same time as me.. I thought it was better to answer you individually.

I''m going to jump in here as at present there seems to be a lot of scepticism around the Kitty and very few admitting that it is actually a good idea. I''ve been involved with the project for a good few months now, some of you know me under a different user name and tbh I mainly use WOTB to talk all things Norwich, and not as the case may be. I work in affiliate marketing and saw the Kitty as a great opportunity to allow fans to give something to the club in exchange for something they actually wanted. The Kitty have said all along that the money raised will be used to fund player transfers. We have seen faced several obstacles in recent months in light of the current economic climate, the relegation etc etc please do not however take our lack of media exposure and the "radio silence" as a sign that we have given up or that the project is not still on going. In light of recent comments by the club, maybe now is the time for us to start shouting and allow the fans to put money in via the rebate etc, at the same time we are working with the fans towards a goal shared by your club, the success and survival of the club. As such we a re open to suggestions and comments on fundraising initiatives, yet will not fight fans for their money if they choose not to claim the rebate. Please be patient with us, I see no reason for the negativity shown by many parties at the end of the day, if you dont want to put money into the Kitty we will not force you to. Steve has been working hard behind the scenes on the business directory and recent meetings have opened several new avenues for us. You support will help make this a success.
May I suggest a healthy alternative? contrary to negativity, I have a lot of experience in affiliate marketing. Why not sign up to affiliate offers such as paid daily clicks (e.g. Kelkoo, Compare search etc) . As well as other affiliate offers that offer no spend payments? such as signing up to survey sites which can pay up to £1.50 a time for 30 seconds of somebody registering? I can provide you wish a list of affiliate networks that have large amount of incentive permitted and no spend offers. Then kindly ask that people sign up to these offers once and a while (I own a cashback site and make a lot of money from this as a commercial venture). You will make a lot more money than you will from adsense or selling adspace. Simple as really, maybe on a seperate page of your site, maybe as a new site. Simply brushing me aside as a negative poster, just because I dont particularly relate to the cause, doesnt mean that I cant help you out. I have built pretty complex scripts from scratch, run two online businesses, and in nutshell make a lot of money. Like I said, I still prefer trusts that buy shares, but I would be willing to help you as a gesture of goodwill. Whether you choose to accept that offer is up to you, but my cashback site takes £4k a month (turnover, I have to pay 40-50% of that to members). Prefering another trust is no different from me preferring the manifesto of a different political party, just because your doing good doesnt mean that I have to think the sun shines out of your backside mate.
Hi Ryan, Thank You for your offer of help, we will be arranging some meetings shortly and new members are welcome. Like you I make a living from online activities, I believe there is huge potential, and would be glad to hear what ideas you can bring to this. Affiliate marketing is part of the concept but i''m sure there are many opportunities in this field. There must be loads of talented individuals who are City supporters that could bring some much diversity to this.

I have to make it clear to all on here that i know what i am talking about, if supporters could get behind my knowledge we can produce a website that will make a vast difference to this club.. I have stated time and again that my understanding of SEO is extensive and the contacts i have build up can produce websites capable of achieving extremely high volume traffic. I have some radical ideas and vast amounts of data that''s available for the success of this.. We will be arranging meetings soon for supporters to attend so that they can get a better understanding of where this idea is going and how they can help from the comfort of their home..

Ok, like i said the amount of effort put into search engine placement has been low and as i said it''s about a 1/10th of what i can achieve. My wife has an ecommerce store which i do the seo on. look for j-lou.com Ladies Fashion. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=ladies+fashion&meta=&rlz=1R2GGLL_en&aq=f&oq= 165000 searches in April Ladies Clothing http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rlz=1R2GGLL_en&ei=-W0iSqedK6GZjAedm-GzBg&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=ladies+clothing&spell=1 450,000 searches in april Ladies Clothes http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=ladies+clothes&meta=&rlz=1R2GGLL_en&aq=f&oq= 246,000 searches in april Ladies tops http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rlz=1R2GGLL_en&q=ladies+tops&meta= 135,000 searches in April This website comes up first page for hundreds of search terms. Another factor you should also be aware of is age of a domain is important for search engine placement and the Kitty and my webserve site are just over a year old.. Here is a site i have also been working on. Crystal reflection. http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rlz=1R2GGLL_en&q=crystals&btnG=Search&meta= 1,220,000 searches in april So as for trying to undermine my capabilities i would be very careful.
Canny, I know you think Delia has the right intentions, and she may well say these things, but her actions? A majority shareholding she''s held for years. Now at 66%. What are her intentions, to hold all 100%? Does she maybe intend to put enough into some sort of Trust to make her just another shareholder so she doesn''t get it all her own way? I am sure she could sell some of them to enable this. She didn''t buy them all at £30 a time did she? She could appoint some clear thinking, proactive people to the board, some with experience of big business. Some with experience of dealing with similar people to herself. Will it happen? As the board stand at just three people I begin to wonder. We don''t need a wealthy backer as such, more a realisation from Delia and Michael that the club can''t move forwards and into a new era while they remain in charge UNLESS their thinking changes radically. Who is going to be interested in investing when Delia decides what to do with their money? Her track record of appointing staff at board level, well what can you say. The managers even worse. Nothing good from negativity or blame. Okay, what about does anything good come from meekly accepting what''s going on and not caring enough to do anything about it? Just accepting it''s happening while our club is taken into a position most of us can''t bear thinking about. Today Division Three, how far down do we go? Supporters, even 20,000 odd haven''t been enough for them to make us successful. Due to their policies and ill thought out appointments first and foremost. Sorry Canny, but nothing they have done since relegation, and to be honest years before that, have convinced me they are the right people to be in charge of what happens to Norwich City.
Gazza we have two options: We do nothing... Point fingers and create bad feeling around the club. Or Should we become inventive, constructive and get behind what we have and push for higher quality. I say we should lead by example & raise our game... No business or team will ever succeed through negativity... and that''s a FACT..

Hiya, Sorry for my late response it has been a lovely day and i was making the most of it. Subsciptions money for the first period was low as explained here, http://www.norwichkitty.com/section/1/funds/ the remainder of the money was raised through activity through the committee members. I will update these figures for you after our next general meeting which is to be held in June when the treasurer updates me the full figures which are in the bank account.. I have no access to this. I did not attend the NCISA meeting, nor do i think has it has helped this footabll club we support. Please don''t think because we aren''t shouting that nothing is happening, in the next month we have lots to present and we hope this time it will be enough to warrant Norwich City supporters support. My whole point since starting this is that the supporters are the club, supporters go to the club to watch football so the players are the most important thing. Raising funds to be spent soley on players has to be what we want, we have seen that a director also see''s it that way so why not keep the ball rolling and get this club back to where it belongs. We need a machine (Website) that keeps raising funds and by using our support we will make the money flow. I believe what i am doing will work that''s why i have put so much work into it and that''s why the site is still there.. It will also get much better. Look at this: and i haven''t put in 1/10th of what i can do yet... but with some encouragement from supporters i would spend more time on it... Norwich Kitty - position no:2 http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rlz=1R2GGLL_en&q=norwich+business+directory&btnG=Search&meta= I am a SEO specialist my job is to generate traffic from search engines and that traffic is then turned into revenue.. My website is here: website-serve.com - position no:1 http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&rlz=1R2GGLL_en&q=seo+specialist+norfolk&meta= Please wait for the new advances and anouncements... It won''t be long I promise..

Hi City Angel. It''s what has been going on behind the scenes. What is coming is much bigger and better than the original concept. I have been very busy gathering more opportunities, contacts and building the data and information require. The Kitty was all about raising money to strengthen the team and people on here used to say the club wouldn''t agree to us insisting it was to be spent there. With the offer made Yesterday we can see clearly that the club will use funds generated by supporters with the sole purpose if player acquisitions.

Gazza i know this board has made mistakes but none of us can honestly say Delia hasn''t had the right intentions. She is also a loyal supporter just like the rest of us, if she wasn''t i would definitely be in the board out camp. Supporters need to know that they are the answer to turning this club around. The offer made shows an example of this. They need to show what they can do for the good of the club.. and get in a habit of doing it..If this was done then the need for a wealthy backer would decline or the club would seem a better proposition to any wealthy person looking to get into football. Fact is the club is likely to get more help if it helps itself.. Nothing good ever comes from blame or negativity, Supporters have the power to change the clubs fortunes. They also have the power to generate regular revenues if they work together.

The problem is simple, 18000 season ticket sales do not generate enough revenue for a modern day football club, the team and facilities have to be subsidised by Advertising, sponsorship TV and sales. We all know the effects on these during an economic downturn so where does the extra come from? ANY WILLING BILLIONIARE WISHING TO WASTE A FEW MILLION PLEASE PRESENT YOURSELF!!! Supporters have to get real, they do nothing and they will suffer....Simple !!!!! Supporters keep expecting directors to be charitable, yet on this board so called supporters will not give the dribbling of there noses without wanting something in return. If you want to see this clubs demise just sit back and do NOTHING.... Moaning about it will get you NOTHING...Asking for Delia''s head will get you LESS. Norwich City Football club needs its fans, the fans are key to the future of this club. How far down the supporters allow this club to go before taking action depends on them. Norwich City football club are not alone in this and other clubs have also been looking for wealthy people to take control. I said 14 months ago supporters needed to pull together and use their support to generate funds but alas most on here know better, don''t they?
So after almost 13 years of obsessive control, poor decision making and sheer belligerence when confronted with any degree of criticism, we are just meant to sit back and accept this remorseless slide to oblivion are we?? I couldnt give a damn about .....''the money'' - what I want is for The Cook to finally hold her hands up and resign from the Board and let others take over the day to day running and strategic decision making. Her shares? She can do what she likes with them.
The problem with your argument is that firstly, i never suggested we just sit back and accept anything. Secondly some of us do give a damn about the club and 2 years ago no one had a problem with Delia Smith. New blood is entering the board room and even if she wanted to give her shares away there is no single person in their right mind in an economic downturn who needs the burden of paying for a football team. Today, season ticket holders were offered an opportunity to strengthen the squad for next season and no doubt many supporters will gladly take up this offer. Supporters may not like it but the fact is if they want things to change they need to do something constructive to help..

Hi City Angel, There is loads going on behind the scenes at the Kitty, we have been working on lots of aspects that will make the site a major force online. The site is steadily strengthening and ageing which is important to what we have in store. It''s important for all of us to focus on helping the club with a long term financial solution. This includes bringing new revenue streams and services that will be beneficial to the business community. Supporters will see the new advances very soon. The supporters have to learn that the days of wealthy backers is well and truly over as there is little personal satisfaction or reward for them. But this doesn''t mean that supporters have to sit back and do nothing. I know there are many negative people who are just after blood but they have no solution nor are they thinking about the consequences of not having Delia''s support especially as there are no other takers for her position.

Hi City Angel, Action does need to be taken, supporters need to strengthen their hand to the maximum. The best way to do that is by adding financial clout behind their voices, Money will always follow the crowd, and the Kitty needed the crowd to flourish. The crowd would have encouraged investment needed to build the proper website i had in mind. Money is the only thing that talks in the football world, so lets show the club why they receive it. Lets show how powerful the supporters are and that we don''t need to keep begging for investment from directors pockets. Lets take their power away and start rallying together to take our club forward to where is belongs. As it stands our Entertainment is reliant on Delia Smith''s generosity and as a result we have been demoted. Working with a common purpose has to be all associations priority, each association has the clubs best interest at heart and they all bring something unique to the table. I made it clear that i am happy to work along side any association. I have said from day one that the success of this club is the supporters hands and by ignoring the signs last year we would see a poor outcome. We are now at the last chance saloon and i don''t know about you but 3RD DIVISION football is unacceptable for a club with such a large fan base.
