Has anyone heard any rumours about Huckerby and Shrewsbury Town?  Its been posted on the STFC forum but I can''t take it seriously... unless any of you guys have heard anything?

As an exile today was my first trip this seasonto Carrow road... here is what I made of our boys (having seen the debacle at Wolves!) Marshall - Solid, didnt really have much to do apart from the goals Otsemobor - Good going forward, looks totally disinterested in defending. more than one occasion let his man go past him then couldnt be bothered to cover back Murray - Was good at CB, lost at LB totally Shacks - How is the boy captain? I want to love him, hes just not good enough Drury - Was fairly solid until crippled Hucks - I dont think the guys good enough anymore... got caught for pace by their younger players far too often Jarvis - I like him but he seems out of his depth in that midfield (if you can call it that) at the moment Russell - Energy but no positional awareness and cant pass to anyone in yellow... Robinson was much better Lappin - What does he do? Hartson - Was impressed to be honest. When he is fully fit I think he will come good. Doesnt run much, but holds it and links well Strihavka - I was very disappointed once again in Dave... signs of promise but first touch seems awful Subs Spillane - Solid enough, I like him... seems like he can do a job Croft - Never rated him, just cant ever see him passing his man Martin - Touched it once I think! Duffy - I am in no way saying I want him to get the job, far from it, but I felt sorry for Jim today. First half we played well but cracks were there (like the big hole between defence and midfield!). Second half we were all over the place but what got me more than anything was Jim screaming and pointing and the players just totally ignoring him.. point blank. There may be nothing more sinister about it, but for me if you are a professional and you are being managed by someone, it is your paid duty to carry out the orders given to you... the bunch of players out there who continually ignored instructions should be ashamed of themselves

As great as he may be as a coach, now he has lost the respect and trust of the players, his position i imagine would be untenable anyways He will be gone shortly, i would imagine it will be a mutual consent job and it will be sorted by the end of the day.  As others have said, the 2 weeks (ish) before the Brizzle game is plenty to appoint someone ready to assess the situation... really the best opportunity ahead of the transfer window for someone to assess who is to go and who is to stay and what needs to be brought in

Drury and Murray were victims of ''fitness test'' syndrome last night as well according to SKY   Grant has to do it because there is no strength in depth... i mean, what happens if Semmy gets injured?

Following on from todays news of us being in a bad financial state may I draw the attention of you lot again to the ''Wolves'' model of attracting cheap young players who want to play for the shirt and play with passion.   Surely this is an option we should be looking at rather than stop gapping the way we seem to at the moment... if finances are bad start bringing in some lower league talent... NOW!

As I was saying last night, Wolves is the model we should follow... they picked up Keogh and Kightly, who ripped us to shreds, for the same price as Big Dave It will take time and there will be blips, but boy did those lads want the ball and want to play in that shirt

We need to perform whats known in the business as ''A Wolves'' or a ''Shrewsbury Town''. We need to pick up young and hungry talent whilst instilling a never say die attitude... this doesnt necessarily cost money either.. so pick the right ones and we could be onto a winner.
