City Angel asked when it will be announced and I''ve simply replied with what I understand to be the truth. Would hope we can all just be glad and celebrate if I''m correct. If I''m not then if your so inclined feel free to post and tell me so.  As I''m sure your aware these things are often complicated and last minutes hitches etc.. delay the signature. My original post reflected the info I had in that the deal was being done on Friday - the i''s have now been dotted and the t''s crossed.

Deals done people - why so cynical? As for someone calling me a ''numpty'' - blimey learn to spell before making accusations (look it up)like that. It will be confirmed next week on the same day Birmingham confirm they have signed Gary Cahill. As for my ''source'' see the reply from ''Roedy Can''t Fail''. Had heard (though just one of these rumours this time) that the loan player we are waiting on a reply form is true class and will make up for our concerns regarding lack of new signings. ''Tiny'' will be ours though , as will a striker and one other. Maybe another one too if th ''Turners'' get their cheque book out.  

There could be something in this as Udinese are interested in Kasper Schmeichel.

They said at the start he had picked up an injury in the week - back spasm - which I assume is why he wasn''t risked from the start.

Like you Andy I post rarely, but read often. I often begin to compile a reply ,in annoyance, to some of the more regular posters who come out with the usual drivel only to give up and think what is the point. However, yours is the best post in a long, long time and mirrors my feelings about the appointment of Glen Roeder perfectly. I hope other posters here heed your words.

Great call Tumbleweed and admist all the ''ifs'' ''buts'' and ''maybes'' on  various posts at the moment a voice of reason. No we''re not happy, of course as fans we want to be pushing for promotion but the fact is we''re not and we are  getting closer and closer to relegation. Whatever the views on this forum I''m sure as fans we don''t want that. Now is the time to pull together and get behind the team.

Agree with you Salopian. Did people really believe we were going to bring a whole new team in during the jan transfer window. I''m afraid the atmposphere among the fans /on  this board is one of such negativity there are always going to be ''moaners'' at the moment. Don''t get me wrong I would have loved for us to have brought a new striker and central defender in but not so long ago everyone was slagging off or midfield and saying this is where the problem is. Well give Grant his due he has brought us 2 midfielders in and Robinson has gone. ''Unknowns'' I know but at least give them 90 minutes before we judge.   I''ve read plenty of posts/heard plenty of conversations in the pub and at the ground on the lines of ''why can other clubs find cheap unknowns who prove to be good players and we can''t?.  If the 2 new lads prove to be worst than Robinson, Etuhu et al then I''ll too express my dissapointment and then question why are scouts can''t find the bargains - but lets give Grants players a chance shall we? In Chadwick and Marshall we have 2 quality players in and I believe Mark Brown will prove useful too. Lets get behind the players we have, as whatever you think they are Norwich players and we are Norwich Supporters, and put our energies into helping them acheive 3 points on Saturday. Lets get behind them in every remaining game and add whatever help we can to help avoid relegation. Then lets see what happens in the Summer, see what other additions are made and give Grant a full season with a team he has had some say in shaping. Then lets judge.
