Our play tonight was as attractive as the girl in the photo here''s hoping for more of the same. What a change, it''s almost like watching Norwich in the premiership we now need that elusive goalgetter/targetman and a leftback.   [G]

After last seasons debacle the board of directors should have no doubt about his ability to follow it up with another poor season. If they wish us to be dragging our feet in the also ran column then I suppose its fine. We supporters however require something a bit more ambitious then mid-table mediocrity and a new man at the helm may prove the catalyst for a serious promotion attempt. I am in favour of stability within a club but he''s had long enough now to mold a team in his image and make good signings to boot (which last term he failed to do). Financial constraints aside even with our present squad we should be up there competing by the end of October at least. If we''re not there is something seriously wrong. As with all new managers a spate of signings normally follow so I would give him till the end of October and if things haven''t improved by then the board should think about appointing a new man. At least then he''ll have time to assess his players and pinpoint weaknesses in the squad. I wonder if this will happen?        [W] [*-)]

I like what Oso Butch wrote here very funny. Okay Carl may have turned in some dodgy performances in the last week or so but give the fella the benefit of the doubt he can only play to the best of his abilities & when his teammates around him don''t pass the ball to each other then what do expect. Be a little gentle in your critiscism of the wee little welshman.  

Carl Robinson can be effective on the park if given the right service from others. Unfortunately this is not very often - Safri is the nearest one to a decent playmaker we have in the centre with him, but too many times he''s out injured or sick & without him we''re very thin on creative players. Next season we''ll have to try & utilise Carl''s play it simple but nicely attitude which in theory should work in the Championship. We have to get in quality midfielders during the close season to benefit Carl & Youssef''s playmaking skills. Andy Hughes has limited playmaking skills while Darren Huckerby always gives his all & Jonaton Johansson (who we should try to tie down permanatly) try''s his best out of position. To be fair to Hughes though & Etuhu we do need combative midfielders but with a tad more gile & culture. Carl Robinson is NOT a bad player though. [8-)]

Obviously Nigel Worthington will still be here - the board won''t fire him out of the canon. As for new players I dread to think who he might decide to bring in on free transfers. If  last summer is anything to go by then don''t hold your breath for too long - Nigel Worthington & star players do not mix! Who will depart Colney? We know Charlton & Ward are on their way but after them, well lets see Peter Thorne must be a cert & what about Louis-Jean both have been annonymous this season lets be avin yer fellas, also Robert Green may have had enough & who could possibly blame him - I fear next season will be more of the same unfortunatly.  [:(]

READ THAT WE ARE GOING TO BID FOR JEROME. Could he be the next Ashton, Bellamy or Eadie? We have to believe he''s a talent as good as West Hams no9! With him, Huckerby & not forgeting McKenzie up front that would be a decent front line. Just need a supporting player from midfield now.[I]

This is my my first post on the site & as much as I hate to agree if correct these are not the kind of players we need is he trying to make us into a league 2 side. Both are struggling - we need quality not mediocrity - Calum Davenport has to come back, Jason Euell may be worth a look on loan Lisbie we didn''t see the best of. Johansson you never know he''s certaintly better then the two mentioned, McSheffrey would be good capture. Eastwood may be inexperienced.[^o)]   Jason Jarrett & Peter Thorne have to go though - worthless aquisitions.[8-|]
