  1. If you were the board would you .. a - listen to the near 25,000 fans that attend games or b - disregard their opinions and make a decision based on your own personal opinion x 3 plus a further member who is has just left as a result of incompetence ? A quick tot up of posts on here so far indicates 57 against and 6 in favour of the appointment. I think that answers the question folks !
  2. Best guesses to go .. Marshall, Shackell, Bertrand, Leitger, Clingan, Croft, Mooney, Cureton, Gow .. oh dear ! Who said you cant win anything with kids !
  3. I think it was 50/50 until today, however after this performance I cannot believe he will hold onto the reigns. Cast your mind back, he was given the role after beating Barnsley. Mumby gave it all the ''look at the smiles'', ''players were lifted by the new team in charge'', ''togetherness'' etc etc. All of those statements seem like a distant memory now .. we are now playing worse than before he took over .. we have gone backwards. I do not blame him and all credit to him for holding his hands up today and taking the blame. Crook is the obvious other choice with Butterworth as his number 2. Gunny steps back into his former role [on half the salary] and we have a cheap solution which looks a little more tactically astute ?? Australia to Norwich for 3 months ?? hes on a promise i say !
  4. I have read all posts on this subject today and i think its fair to summise the vast majority feel Hucks still has something left to give. Nonetheless roeder is in the best position to judge this and has to live and die by the sword. Where everyone has hit the nail on the head is the whole send off issue. Surely this could have been wrapped up in advance of Sundays game. I have supported Norwich for 30 plus years and for me Hucks is up there with the best of them. He came here for less than he could have had elsewhere. He has stayed here despite better offers over the years. He has kept his mouth shut [well mostly] when times got bad, and most importantly he has been a true legend. My kids have signed photos, he always helps out with the youth side of things when asked etc etc.  All of this and the the club cannot even manage a proper send off ... not good enough really is it !! I will always remember Hucks The Legend !!
  5. Dear Norwich fans, we are pleased to announce that we have appointed (Neil Adams) as our new manager. Our reasons for choosing (Neil) is because (he ''totally agrees'' with us). We both have similar ambitions for this club and we will all be striving to (totally agree). (Neil) has signed an (Agreement document on a rolling 1) year contract and we look forward to (pushing him off the fence on occasions). There are funds available for team strengthening and the new manager will have our full backing when it comes to (the final push .. off the fence that is). We hope that by making this appointment you will realise that (Chris Goreham will now have to cuddle up next to me in the directors box). We look forward to seeing you all at the Bristol City game and I know that with your fantastic support we can all (be warm together).  Love Deals Dumps .. swalk
  6. I have read Peter Grants comments re Spillane and Jarvis'' performance. He states they played well and deserve to be considered for the weekend game. As for why they haven''t featured yet .. it would have been cruel ! Forgive me but are these players not adult men who are professionals within their industry ? The canary faithful are not looking to shout down young players who are trying their best, albeit at the outset anyway. Chris Martin, Jason Shackell are proof of this. I Appreciate Ian Henderson did get a hammering, but in fairness to him he was played out of position by Worthless on too many occasions. Come on Granty, wake up and smell the whisky, this is the only future for our club without major investment.
  7. I heard the interview driving home from the game. First and foremost, top marks to Chris Goreham for posing the tough questions ! I listened in astonishment at his reply, our car went silent. None had heard words so desparate from this man since he joined the club. Technically he has a point, hes the man who knows whats happening behind the scenes etc etc and he makes the decisions/carries the can ... HOWEVER.... to come out with such a blunt reply in the manner he did smacks of a manager in desperation. Hes tried formation after formation, player after player and things are no longer working for him. He has served our club well and lets not forget promotion, city hall, cardiff etc etc, however I think he has now taken this club as far as he can and its time for someone else with fresh ideas to come into the club and move us forward again...Tuesday could be a very interesting night with edge aplenty !!
  8. Short memories indeed. What would these people be saying if we had now been sitting on 9 or so points from 4 games ? You cannot judge a managers future after 4 games into the season, get behind him, stop booing the players off the pitch at home games and give the players some large ! We will come good given a little time. Ashton will probably go, but we will make some good money from him [thanks to Worthy] and will strenghten again. Also, where was Ashton when we got to Cardiff and were promoted as Champions, we can survive without him ! Delias 38G''s
