  1. Nobody said I don''t believe Holt has done a job for us, the system we currently play does not help, but four. With the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, it''s has been time for many a year to bring in players of a better standard who are able to compete sustain premier league survival and try to push on. Why should our expectations better than championship! Yours maybe.
  2. Oh sorry I forgot Holt has Scored a massive 4 goals.
  3. When will all us Norwich fans learn, we have made bids and been linked with players in the past, but as soon as another team becomes involved or the valuation is too high, that''s the end of it. I read in another thread one fan saying we spent a lot in the summer and was surprised we had that much too spend. Southampton £12 million Ramirez, Reading £7 million Pogrebnyak, West Ham £10 million Jarvis and we spent a lot I think not we probably spent as much on four or five players. I sincerely hope I''m wrong but I see another championship striker as being the best we can hope for.
  4. Does anyone actually believe we have made not one but two 5 million pound bids? We may have bid, but no way have we started at 5 million. Been a Norwich City too long to believe that, I believe we will get neither of those, Graham too Sunderland and Hooper will stay at Celtic, but if we do it will be for about 5 million max. When Lennon stated a bid had been made but nowhere near Celtics valuation it probably meant we bid about 3 million.
  5. I have been waiting in anticipation of news of an additional striker or two, but the more and more I see us play, I don''t believe this will solve all our problems at the moment, Yes it will help, but we are not creating chances for strikers to miss. Therefore I believe we do need definitely one, potentially two strikers but also a midfielder who can create the openings for the strikers, we have nobody who can make that slide rule pass, the closet to that is David Fox. What''s your thoughts?
  6. I always assumed Delia did not have a son, but surely a this thread is started by somebody who is clearly related. Time to stop the we are paupers, other clubs manage why the hell cant we, next season is the new TV deal worth more millions you need to be there, end of story.
  7. Lambert has the same approach as CH, and their board is nearly as tight as ours.
  8. Is there anymore rubbish that we can be linked with? Spend some Bl--dy money on some decent players, not Craig Mackail-Smith or Cameron Jerome Or Carlton Cole.
  9. Can we be linked with any more below average rubbish Craig Makail Smith, Cameron Jerome, Carlton Cole, what is it with the managers and board at NCFC. If they can find some under achieving idiot lets make an approach. All other clubs are after quality internationals, apart from Villa but that''s understandable. Go out buy some decent players spend some blo--y money.
  10. Thanks may still be on then? who knows!!!
  11. Sorry did not see other relevant answers, so what''s the story?
  12. Anybody know whether, this is still a goer or not?
  13. CH claims they will work up the end of the transfer window to further strengthen the squab after Saturdays performance. Well after that dismal display that could mean all areas, but lets be logical about this which areas need strengthening the most? Well I believe, Garrido will come in at left back, when Whittaker is fit he is likely to be either our right back or our defensive midfielder, so we either need a right back or a defensive midfielder or both, so what next. Well another centre back would not go amiss someone with pace, why did we get rid of Ayala, a goal scorer somebody who converts in the eighteen or six yard box, and that''s just for starters, but these players need to be of a better standard than we are buying now, a bit of quality, come on spend some money, or it will be a long hard season.
  14. If only a striker would solve our problems, it''s much much more than that, yesterday we couldn''t defend, but nothing new there, we didn''t win ball in midfield, we created no chances for whoever the striker or strikers were. So all in all, look forward to a very long season, a season when you need to survive because of next seasons massive rewards, but once again we spend little or nothing in the summer, it''s long overdue to buy some quality in a number of areas.
  15. Lets see if you are so relaxed as the season progresses!!!!!! I hope you''re right
  16. I am not disappointed with the players that have arrived, slightly surprised by who has gone out, more surprised some that I thought would go, haven''t, but I still believe we need a stronger spine throughout the team i.e. Centre Back, Defensive Midfielder & Goal poaching striker, any thoughts? Centre Back - Curtis Davis? Midfielder - Jake Livermore (Loan) Spurs or Jay Spearing (Loan) Liverpool Striker - I think Craig Bellamy would do a job (Free Transfer) or John Guidetti (Man City)
  17. Id like to first off all say that both Lambert and Holt, have done exeptionally well for NCFC, but Lambert did the same to Colchester and it was inevitable that at some stage he would be off, but Aston Villa???? Holt, well to him a further years extension to take him to 34, I agree with Mcnally and the board, not good business, I just maybe we have had the best out of him. Likes and dislikes. Lambert''s replacement Like 1. Chris Hughton 2. Ian Holloway 3. Steve Bruce 4. Malky Mackay 5. Gus Poyet Dislikes 1. Lee Clarke 2. Karl Robinson 3. Neil Lennon As for Holts replacement, I suggest if Villa want him bleed their transfer kitty as dry as we can and then leave that up to Lambert''s replacement. Its time to start a new era, onwards and upwards
  18. I was apprehensive before the start of the season that the players we added to the squad would not be good enough for us to retain premiership status, well all but an odd goal or a point we have, and believe Paul Lambert and the team have done an excellent job. But, I firmly believe that although I trust the judgement of Paul Lambert that we need to shift out half a dozen players in the summer at least, that are not good enough, but most importantly replace at least three of those with players that can do with added quality. Along with a couple that could possibly be furthered developed, and good use of the loan market it takes us to a recruitment figure of 5 to 7 players without said additions we may struggle.
  19. Buzzing, we are Norwich City whenever we are on, but first it should be.
  20. Elliott Bennett was superb, Ryan Bennett class super display, Wibraham worked his socks off, they were all brilliant. I thought our performance against Everton was good, but this was even better, Norwich City take a bow boys you were great.
