Yeah, I can add this to the list. Like I said above, I'm not sure they are going to be making big changes in the next few months whilst they work on other stuff. But I'll see if I can get that included as part of that particular update.

I can definitely raise it! But like I say, I think there is bigger improvements coming down the track. As for the pin - I can assure CC it won't be there for long, ha!

Good evening folks. I hope you're doing well. A few people on various threads have asked me to update on the conversations we've been having about fixing technological problems some users have been experiencing on the forum. After lengthy conversations internally, I can confirm that our tests have concluded that the forum is working as it should after a few fixes behind the scenes. Hopefully, this is something you guys have experienced using the forum in recent days. Also, I can tell you that, hopefully, within the next few months there will be upgrades made to future proof and improve the forum from a technological and interface perspective. This should make it a better experience for all. I will update on this as and when I can. I don't know a huge amount more than that at this stage - but I did want to provide an update. Thanks again for using the forum in the right way. This does seem to have been, by and large, a better place in the last few weeks and months. All the best, Connor

I can assure you that it isn't on its last legs. Just needs some maintenance. Which is currently being looked into.

I can only advocate using this forum! I don’t see a situation where either of those realities come to pass - providing people use it in the right way and are respectful. For all the stick we get on here (some justified, some not) we are providing a service that is free - even when others in past years have wanted to push it behind a paywall. It’s not a perfect place, but it allows fans to come together and debate. Of course, there are clearly tech issues to resolve and we’re trying to do that. My messages are always open - I would encourage anyone with issues of any kind to contact me in there and I’ll always do my best to reply swiftly. Obviously, doing that on a Saturday afternoon is tougher than a Thursday afternoon, for example.

Hi FTW. There is no censorship on here - the only time we would remove posts if they violate our guidelines, are abusive, offensive or discriminatory. I’m not an IT expert so it would be wrong for me to comment, but I can assure the fixes are not 10 minutes ones. From what I can gather. But they are still being looked in to.

Morning guys. Hope we’re doing well. A couple of points to raise off the back of this lengthy thread: 1) Please can we make sure we are respectful of other people (especially those with differing opinions to our own) and just make sure what we are saying isn’t personal/provocative/unnecessary. The last thing I want to do is be issuing ‘blue cards’ and sinbinning people - but we are close with a few exchanges on this thread. So think very carefully or I’ll have to enforce a temporary posting ban to help with that process. Disagreement is good! And healthy! And normal! So let’s be respectful, please. 2) I’m well aware of the tech issues. These have been reported and are being looking into. We are considering ways that we can make the forum more user friendly - but I’m afraid this won’t be a quick process. But I wanted to make users aware we know that problems that exist. I’ll keep updated on this process when I can. Cheers.

Evening guys - I guess tech problems makes a change from the constant complaints about clickbait and other stuff spouted, so that’s a welcome change!😂 There is nothing showing any indication of a problem at my end - but I will flag it and get our tech team to take a look. I am saddened that I have been forced to resort to such a drastic and unnecessary measure in response to what is a continued and persistent decline in behavioural standards on this forum. It has drifted on for far too long. Since Pete stepped aside, we've tried to adopt a lighter touch in moderation on this platform in the hope that adults could be trusted to be responsible with what they are posting and how they are conversing, treating and behaving with fellow users. Clearly, this is no longer possible due to a minority of users who continue to use this platform unacceptably. This should serve as a final warning to everyone on this platform - clean up your act. From here, we will be taking a no-nonsense approach to those who overstep the mark. They will be issued with instant and irreversible bans. We've been very lenient with second, and in some cases, even third warnings. Clearly, that isn't having the desired effect. As a result, we will be reviewing this platform very carefully in the next few weeks. If nothing changes, we will be left with little choice but to consider it's future viability. This is not a step that we want or should have to take - but the behaviour on here by a minority of users will not be allowed to continue. This forum is designed for debate around Norwich City and other topics in the world. It should be a place for contrasting views and opinions - but that should never overstep the mark. At the moment, too often, it is. Some of the posts we are seeing are defamatory, personal and unnecessary. We are all adults. Please take a moment to reflect on your individual behaviour and whether it is meeting the standards you would do in everyday society. If anyone suffers this, then please make the moderation team aware and use the report button. We can then take it from there. Clean it up or face a ban. That is the situation.
