1.
We could all simply reply "agree totally" and he might get fed up!
That actually sounds like an even better idea.
 2. do you think he will go away? It''s got to be worth a try, but it will take a big effort from all of us. I''m in.
 3.
Sorry Wiz, I''m only a newbie here and can''t claim your extensive knowledge and insight into the team and the players so I would be interested to hear from what you saw at Coventry on Saturday which players you consider are poor signings ?
I actually laughed at that. Asking Wiz for some information on the playing side. The only information he will ''provide'' is slander and speculation, based on the non-playing side of the club.Cue Wiz response, which I think he has just copied, ready to edit slightly and post again. He''s up to about 5000 I think now.Oh Wiz, if only we all shared your infinite wisdom...P.S. Did you like the way I emboldened part of my post, as if this in way way gives it more credibility[;)]
 4.
By all accounts Wiz, his ''cheap and cheerful'' signings played very well at the weekend.
Wiz doesn''t care how they played, it''s all based on assumptions and ''figures''. You should know this by now. [:)]
 5.
You ought to be ashamed of yourself , that is really disappointing, you would vote against a tribute to a dying old man to fuel a football rivalry, that is really sick.
Not wanting to be a spoilsport, but it probably is best to be left alone. Don''t think it is sick, just a case of misplaced enthusiasm...

Sometimes I wish I was more sensitive to petty insults.....but it just doesn''t happen. Trouble is...you only want to discuss the club if it fits in with your own way of thinking. That is why you and your chums don''t concern me one little bit...and why I seem to upset you so much. It''s called tolerance...Try it some time.
Did you go to Coventry yesterday Cluck? Do you go to home games? I have asked you in a couple of previous threads, I am curious...

 8.
I wonder what the score would have been if we had played with Earny not Curo? He was available to buy.
Interesting you should say this. I was discussing this with my dad, and I said that had we had Earny playing and not Curo, I think we would''ve won the game. We all know his limitations, but he does score goals.

 11. I haven''t read all the way through this thread, there is far too much of it, so I apologise if I have missed out any major points, or am just repeating stuff that has been said.My take on the situation is, the board want to be in control of this club, and for all the mistakes they have made, they have made some excellent decisions. I think Roeder was a good appointment as manager, and I think they can see this. They are, after all, fans of the club, and I think they are gambling that the combination of Roeder and the team will be successful enough this season for the fans to be satisfied.I am not saying that Cullum isn''t probably the future of this club, but if I was in Delia''s shoes, and I thought that the team was starting to take shape, would I just jump ship and let someone else take the praise. That may be selfish, but it is also a gamble. All the good work they have done at this club (and you only have to look at Watford, Southampton etc. to see that they are doing something right) will be undone in the fans eyes if they fall flat on their faces this season.I am prepared to give them a chance, and I would be more than happy for them to be right. If, and it''s a big if, we get to the Prem this year, then we will need more investment, and I don''t see how Delia could say no then. If we don''t, it will be Cullum''s turn anyway.I say give them a chance. This is the last roll of the dice. After that, who knows.OTBC
 12.
I thought that a pretty accurate and insightful assessment.....until the bit about Leon I sat with the Cov fans today and he ran to them to celebrate his 100th goal. He had a t-shirt on dedicating the goals to this family. No way did he try to diss us.  I don''t think he ignored the fans either. Face it, he plays for another club. And he applauded the Norwich at the final whistle as well.
I have a lot of time for the guy, think he was a top player whilst at the club, and have no grudges.I just hope he dedicated the goals to his wife. Fine woman, so I''ve heard...[;)]
 13.
Im glad we played well.Im glad the coventry fan was sympathetic and encouraging. But neither of those things will matter a jot if we cant put points on the board.
I don''t think the fan was being sympathetic. I think he was being realistic to both his own teams shortcomings, and our ability. Again I ask, were you there today? I am not trying to lord it over you, I am just intrigued as to whether someone who saw the game could appear to have such a negative opinion of the performance.
 14.

Cluck has elevated himself, once again, to a place on the forums biggest bellends list.Congratualtions. Say hi to Wiz for me while you''re there...
Ill bring this up 10 games in when we''re sitting pretty in the relegation zone.Cluck may be patronising, annoying, attention-seeking and a whole bunch of other negatives......but he''s right. Our team is utter crap, and it''s the fault of a board who''ve run out of money but are too proud and desperate to let go for the good of the club.
Were you there today? We were far from crap...
 15.

Cluck has elevated himself, once again, to a place on the forums biggest bellends list.Congratualtions. Say hi to Wiz for me while you''re there...
Precisely what was said this time last year when I stated Grant was a loser and the players he brought in were donkeys...... Same scenario...same mugs like you believing in fairies. Enjoy the ride sunshine.
Piss off you patronising dickhead.
 16.
I much prefer it when we play it on the ground, but a target man gives us a very useful alternative option. Against some teams we may just not get through, no matter how well we spread the ball, and so the target man gives us something else. A larger physical presence can work very well in linking up with other strikers and getting on the end of crosses.
I suppose in that respect you are right. If I think about my post again, I am not saying we don''t need a target man, and I agree it will give us a decent alternative. I just don''t want the football we played today compromised.
 17. I''m interested in whether people who were at the game today still want a target man.Although a tall strong striker would give us a different option, which would obviously be a good thing, I thought the way we kept the ball on the ground was fantastic, and I wouldn''t want to see that compromised. What we needed more was someone with pace and clinical finishing. Someone who is a proven goalscorer, as opposed to a lump it up to bigboy.People who saw the game today, what do you think?
 18. Cluck has elevated himself, once again, to a place on the forums biggest bellends list.Congratualtions. Say hi to Wiz for me while you''re there...
 19. Well my dad did anyway. He said that anyone who takes 3 points off Norwich this season should be very pleased with themselves. I don''t think many people would have been saying this last year...
 20. I know there are a lot of threads discussing the points vs. performance debate, but there was one thing which I thought was a huge improvement today. The performance was exciting. Really exciting. Every time we got the ball, I thought that something was going to happen. We played the ball on the floor, moved it around quickly, and pressed the opposition right into their own half. I think everyone who was there will agree with me, that this was up there with the most exciting games we have had since the Premier League.Points or no points, I had a good time today. Cue people telling me I''m a moron who should expect better. Well if we play like that every week, I will be there, regardless of points, money spent or strikers accumulated.OTBC
 21. Norwich goalless and pointless from their season opener at a noisy Ricoh Arena.Really? Even with us singing I thought that was one of the quietest stadiums I have ever been to.
 22. We will comfortably beat MK Dons and Blackpool playing as we did, and then everything will seem a lot better.
 23.
Played well, can''t score. Same old story, we have just totally out-played a likely bottom of the league team and lost. I know which side of the fence i''m leaning toward ( yeah I know it''s just one game) but personally i''m not prepared to wag my tail for any more of the bo**ocks dished out from the current Carrow Road Chef. Get the trout out and turn this club back into a football club.....enough boiling eggs.....boil the fu**in witch and let''s get on with it. Bring on the protests....and Wiz, All is forgiven
There is absolutely no way that this cretin was at the game today, anyone who was would not be saying this. Today was very promising.
 24.
Well good on you Canary Fan.  Though I couldn''t bring myself to bet against my team , you had a result today. A NCFC with promise and quids in !!!
Anyone betting against their own team is a jeb-end. Anyone bragging about it hidden behind their keyboard even more so. Still, lets not let a thread about todays game descend into that. Glad that eveyone seems to have seen the game the same as me.
 25. Just got back from the game, and I am not feeling downhearted. The team played very well today, Coleman admitted on local radio that we should have had a penalty and deserved something from the game, and for a team that contained 6 new signings, I thought we looked ok as a unit. Ratings are:Marshall - Hard to say, looked comfortable, didn''t blame him for the final goal as he had to come out. Only downside is I don''t think normally he is quick enough off his line. Good kicking - 7Omozusi - Good start, was very surprised at how composed he looked all game. Didn''t get forward enough, but I think he was too busy concentrating on getting things right at the back, which you can''t complain about. Looks a very promising signing, Semmy has his work cut out to get back in - 7Shackell - Excellent at left-back, his one mistake was a misplaced backpass which went for a corner, which he was berated for. Competent, stayed with his man all day, and the extra height both defending and attacking is useful. Would have no qualms seeing him play there again - 7Kennedy MOTM - Did everything right today, won every header I can remember and was confident at coming out of defence to win the ball. Reminded me of Malkay but with pace. Lets hope he is here beyond January - 9Stefanovic - Switched off twice today, and nearly cost us dearly. Could easily have been sent off for the trip after his mistake, however, these two mistakes tarnish what was otherwise a composed display, and I think with games his match sharpness will return - 6Croft - Ran all day, had so many goal kicks hit up his way I felt sorry for him. He made some excellent runs, and won us a couple of corners where others would have seen it run out for a goal kick. The problem is, what does he offer us? I found myself hoping he would win a corner, as he had no chance of actually crossing or shooting in the right direction. I think he will be fearing for his place after today - 5Hoolihan - Looked very tidy, came inside a lot more than I was expecting, but looked very hady, had all sorts of tricks and flicks, and as the team gels I think his play will become crucial to our seasons hopes. Absolutely no right foot whatsoever - 7Fozzy - Not a bad game, but his evident frustration I believe stemmed from the fact he didn''t have a spotless game. Lost the ball a few times, won the ball a few times. Got himself booked for abusing the referee, and couldn''t decide myself whether it''s good to see passion, or he should lead by example - 6Clingan - Had a good debut on the whole, the penalty takes the shine off it but he will know that. Looked ok on the ball, did the simple things right which I suppose is what he is there for - 6Curo - Looked a lot fitter than last season, ran all day and was a reason we looked so lively. Had no chances of any real note, so you have to feel for him today. This will surely be his last season, and I think he is ready to make a real go of it - 7Lupoli - Very promising, always looked to beat his man and normally did, and in the first half was the only player not afraid of shooting! If that was 75%, I can''t wait to see him fully fit. He could be a very important player this season - 8Subs:Koroma - Showed some good touches, but his youth showed. I think this season will be very hit and miss for him. He has talent, I think it is all about how quickly he finds his feet in this league. Unlucky with his chance, although I would''ve expected Curo or another more experienced member of the team to score - 6Russell - Not on long enough to make any difference.Roeder - Had the team playing lively, fast paced football, keeping the ball on the ground even out of defence. Compared to Preston at the start of last season, I think the performance showed how better prepared we are. Was nothing he could do to stop us losing - 7Cue the what game were you watching comments[:)]...
