So I''ve been put under the opinion that he is unable to play Prem football. Last season he scored 21 goals (18 of which were in the league). Not only is that his greatest ever (his second was back at Cardiff who I didn''t even know he played for), that is 5 short of Ings'' total (21 in league) and 1 better than Austin''s. Also, he''s greatest prem season is 11 in 33, and I, for one, thinks that''s not bad and think he should be kept, as a sub if nothing else. That said, we do need someone else if we are getting rid of pretty much everyone, and so how about Mitrovic. Scored more than 1 in 2 (in the Belgian league for the best team) and is still 20. Wouldn''t be cheap and on the transfer markt page, he is grouped with Munir and Martial.

Opinions are mixed on next season and I''m sure this has been asked before but, if you had the choice would you: A) play the transfer market and season like we would hoping for the best. B) play the transfer window and then have a confirmed 17th spot - no other details. It''s hard to decide with uncertainty on who we are going to bring in, but just a broad question, of which I''m sure opinions will differ.

Fair enough on my part for the misinterpretation, but isn''t that slightly contradictory? He says he wants quality over quantity and then talks about looking at 6 or 7. I''m just saying, decent strikers have become a premium in the lower part of the league and it may be better to look elsewhere. Scotland is no good.

We have all heard McNally''s statement about British based players being our only transfer targets and in defence, that''s fin if we can secure a Richards or a van Djik, but in attack, I''m slightly more worried. Who could we take that would a) accept an offer from a newly promoted club b) be available for offers from current club and c) be good enough to play? If at gun point, would you rather take N''doye or Jelavic? and if not at the relegated clubs, where should we look?

What about a little bit of Lukas Podolski? Unrealistic at best but Arsenal do want to off load him and inter don''t look like saying yes.
