? 0 Posted January 24, 2015 Apparently, he hadn''t sent off any player this season and I have to admit I found it quite funny that he booked Johnson instead of Turner late in the second half, thus saving Turner being the first one!Guess he doesn''t like doing the paper work for a Red card! Branston Pickle 4,169 Posted January 24, 2015 He was also another in a very long line of poor officials we''ve had here this season - some of his decision making was truly bizarre
Horse Renoir 1 Posted January 24, 2015 Complete Homer. Looks like him, was incredibly stupid and like in that episode where he refs Lisa''s ''soccer'' team, intentionally bias. This time though because he wanted to favour the plucky, underdog club who''s fans had to pay £97423562934 for a ticket today. How the hell can you be that incompetent and obtuse yet still make it to officiating at Carrow Road ffs!? Guest Posted January 24, 2015 That "advantage" in the first half that resulted in Brentford nearly scoring was an absolute joke.
Rogue Baboon 0 Posted January 24, 2015 Never had control of the game. Twice in the second half a Brentford player went Down, he just seemed to stop and stare at the player, the ball would run 20/30 yards down the pitch and then he would suddenly decide to give a free kick. It was almost as if all 3 officials decided to give themselves a few seconds before making the decision - not necessarily a bad thing over gamechanging decisions - but for every free kick or offside it was ridiculous. They were giving decisions based on players reactions. Then we get on to what happened immediately before half time. A Brentford player went down. Nothing. He then held is face as a Brentford player kicked the ball out of play, but the ref blew his whistle before the ball went out. The player was the treated for a leg injury. This took a few minutes of the time added on. Then he marched the ball 20 yards to the touchline where it had been, called for a drop ball, dropped it and immediately blew the whistle for half time. Truly incompetent officiating.
