Punting Canary 0 Posted August 18, 2005 Seems a little strange that we have bought another striker when in my opinion the 2m would be better spent on a very good centre half. Got to wonder whether this is paving the way for Ashtons departure. If not you would imagine that McKenzie is going to get pretty fed up sitting on the bench. And where does that leave Peter Thorne who if I am not mistaken has played most of his career down the middle up front. 4 or 5 into 2 doesn''t go. But one of the strikers probably will.
