ReadingCanary 0 Posted May 26, 2013 Neymar off to join Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and Co at Barcelona then...Meanwhile Bayern Munich are rumoured to be targetting a Lewandowski move to accompany Gotze who they snapped up earlier this month.Wonder what the future holds for English clubs in Europe.Really hope we get a Falcao / Ronaldo type star in the League this season. Certainly makes the best league in the world just that little bit more special.

Talk in the papers today is that Fabregas maybe on his way back to the Prem at United to join up with RVP! Would make a bit of sense with Neymar joining Barca and displacing Cesc. Would loved to have seen Neymar here (EPL) think he''s going to be really something special if he continues to improve! Alas Spain is always going to be first choice for the majority of Latin American players as cultures and language are somewhat similar. OTBC
Hannibal II 0 Posted May 26, 2013 The Prem still has Bale, Aguero, Van Persie, Yaya, Mata, Hazard, Tores, Suarez, Silva, Wilshire not a bad lot of players them. The difference between the prem and spain and Germany is our star player are spread over 6 teams rather than 2 thats why we have a stronger league
ReadingCanary 0 Posted May 26, 2013 Would love to see Fabregas back in the Prem. One of my favourite players from past seasons.Plus the look on Piers Morgan / Arsenal fans faces when RVP and Cesc turn up together at The Emirates would be priceless.I just hope the Prem keeps Bale. He is going to be very very very special this year and I for one can''t wait to see him live in action.

No the obvious difference - there is only Wiltshire who is English, What good is it doing to our national team, strong league I agree, but it comes at a price if like me, you would still love to see our country compete for the euro, World Cup later stages. Lavanche 0 Posted May 26, 2013 Well it is not the price of quality league, but poor youth coaching and big academies holding players and not getting them play in lower leagues. For example Barcelona and Real Madrid have their second teams in Liga Adelante which gives them quality football from day to day.Ofc it takes some competition out of that league, but it gives young players chance to develope faster. Not to mention Real Madrid is always selling their young players for lesser Madrid teams quite cheap with buyback clause and not keeping them playing for reserves until they are 24 like few english teams are doing ^^Youth coaching in England was few years ago from middleage. Now things have changed a bit and production of creative players have been doubled and in few years it might start to carry out some results. What comes to big stars and league levels, I wouldnt put La Liga so much far behind of Premier League anymore. Also Bundesliga will grow year after year and Ligue 1 is in big grow both in money and attendance vice.Serie A seems to be only one from big leagues that seems to say somewhat stable in growing. And what comes to stars you players like Suarez, Wilshire, Bale and Mata who play out of top 2 you have to only watch teams behind Real Madrid and Barcelona.Isco, Soldado, Jesus Navas, Falcao. Quite equal players and represents 4 different teams.Premier League is still a bit ahead because of better TV deals for every team in league and better economy level of teams, but that status doesnt last too long, if premier league cant "promote" their attractivity for superstars.
