Shannock 0 Posted April 7, 2013 lots of murmurings of frustration at the management yesterday in what was another, lets be honest, mostly poor perform. It wont be long before these murmurings turn into a more vocal force and we have scenes reminiscent of the final days of the Worthington era. For me the players we have are capable of so much more than what they are being told to do by the current management team. A management team made up of two failed managers and the most unadventurous manager i can remember in a City dugout.A lot of them seem confused by their roles and the lack of attacking intent is really grating on most fans now. I can only speak for myself of course but I know the folks around me and also friends and colleagues are all fed up with this style we have adopted under Hughton. I know that if he keeps us up it will be mission accomplished but I really do not like how we have achieved it. I remember in the Worthington Premiership campaign, the late Brian Woolnough got in a bit of hot water over his remarks about Norwich being gutless and stinking the premier league out. I feel that if he had said it about this current campaign we could have no complaints. What I would like to know is how many of you are prepared to put up with this brand of football again next season, what ever league we find ourselves in.I think we will stay up. However I would also like to see the CEO show his ruthless streak and look to replace Hughton in the summer and I would not be averse to giving MON another crack at the whip. I think he has an awful lot to re-prove and we could be the one to kick us on to the next level and bring back a style of play which would more suit our current players while also having the characteristics and reputation to tempt a good calibre to FCR in the future. super canary 0 Posted April 7, 2013 Wrong. Hughton just needs a few more players, which he will get in the summer. His hands are tied due to our lack of quality strikers. It would be madness to sack him in the summer. Look what he has done with our defense, a massive turnaround from last season. Oh, and as for MON to come in....have you lost your mind or are you getting a little sentimental?
BGG&YPOS 0 Posted April 7, 2013 How do you know that he will be giving us this brand of football next season, do you have inside information to prove this?
lake district canary 4,830 Posted April 7, 2013 "How do you know that he will be giving us this brand of football next season, do you have inside information to prove this?"You don''t need inside information. Its common sense. Its Hughton''s job to get us playing a better brand of football, from the defence right through to the attack.. He was alwyas going to need at least two seasons to do this. Judge him next season. Then see where we are. Calling for a management change at this stage is sheer folly.

Yes we''ve kept more clean sheets, but our attacking football comes at the cost of a leaky defence. Name me one time we''ve scored goals this season but haven''t conceded one or two.
