Only 3 teams get relegated

Recommended Posts

Reading,QPR, gone, Sunderland fans,Stoke fans and us convinced they are joinging them too so must be 5 this season. Quite ironic wigan 3rd bottom think they are safe and Villa followers think they are top ten now. Wouldnt swap with any of them even after a beating at the emirates next week. Btw still 11/1 with 365 for the deluded on here

Im guessing Lord Montyjones that you are aged 12-18, dont remember the 7th at xmas then relegation debacle in 95, or how about 8 points clear of relegation in 85 leaving Coventry having to win all 3 games, wanna guess what happened ??

Now im not saying we are going to go down thats the last thing i want but get yr head out of the bloody sand because it could happen !

Firstly after we won our last game at Chelsea we were 8 points clear and Coventry only had 3 games left so not sure how you think yr memory is better and secondly why on earth would i want to bet on my team going down when its the last thing on earth i want to happen !!!!

If you could read properly you might see that im saying it could happen, especially given our rotten form !!!!

money is still money, whether you want it to happen or not?!

the Coventry scenario can never happen again as after ''85 the football league specified that all last games of the season had to be on the same day.

Tend to agree with the OP (for today anyway) but quoting odds the day after The Grand National is not helpful.

Yes a season 17 years ago has any say on what will happen to us this season. It is literally just stupider fans panicking because they think because Norwich did it before (with none of the same personnel) they''ll do it again as a result. We may go down but this other season has nothing to do with it.

Oh dear, oh dear mid norfolk canary, totally missing the point, no of course what happened with Coventry cant occur again, but lets be honest did anyone expect Coventry to win all three games ?? No of course they didnt but it happened.

As for putting money on it, if i won i couldnt collect my winnings where would there be any pleasure in that ?

Lets just hope we stay up and agree to disagree, i just cant help worrying as we never seem to have Lady luck on our side.......

how am I missing the point?....you''ve quoted a scenario that the rules state can''t ever happen again...........and for what its worth ,yes given that their 3 games were all at home against Stoke, who had already been relegated, Luton, who had been to Spain on an end of season holiday and came back for the game, and Everton reserves, whilst we had to sit ad watch...yes there was a good chance.

Ha ha ha im divorced ( am waiting the not suprised comebacks ;) )

Listen guys im not saying we are going to go im just saying we could, going 4-4-2 against Reading and go for goal i think could be the key to us staying up.

And i also think that should we stay up we wont be in this predicament next year, Hughton is targetting players that will move us onwards and upwards.

Plus if you knew me and my background you may change yr mind on whether im positive or not :)
