How right is this reporter:

In the early stages of yesterday''s game Norwich''s tactical reaction to the tightly ranked Luton ranks was to thump long balls over the top hoping Jackson may profit. In the second half the introduction of Holt merely supplied a TIRED plan with a different target, and a tactic that WAS NEVER likely to succeed!

I do hope CH reads this, because it is so true and enveloping of his tactics ALL season.

This is a bit unfair C2.   At our best - 1st halves against Swansea and Sunderland - we have looked a class apart in passing and forward play.  To select the bad things that happen and say that has been happening all season is not correct.    At our best we have been very good - but  we are on a poor run.     CH will be trying to get the momentum back to how it was during our good run.   We need to be patient and trust the manager to turn it round.    He''s proved he can do it -  earlier in the season - against a backdrop of hysteria from a section of fans - he simply has to get the focus back and go again - hopefully some of the hysteria will be replaced by a more reasoned view of things.

Upset we may be at yesterday, but on balance we are not doing badly in the league - and we have work to do to get back to the standards we had before Christmas.

Fact is Holt won more headers in the first five minutes of the second half (3) than we won in the whole of the first half. So switching made sense. Trouble is Jackson didn''t cotton on and move closer to get the flick ons.
